摘要： In one aspect, the invention is a solar shingle roofing assembly that includes a roofing underlayment providing mechanical and electrical connection for solar shingles. The system also includes an array of rectangular solar shingles, each solar shingle with a first side edge, a second side edge, a bottom edge and a top edge. Each solar shingle is shaped to form at least one channel on an upper surface running from the top edge to the bottom edge and shaped to form at least two air gaps between the bottom surface of the shingle and the top surface of the underlayment and running parallel to the at least one channel. In the array of shingles, the air gaps of vertically adjacent shingles are aligned to thereby form continuous air gaps running from a bottom of the array to a top of the array. The solar shingles are mechanically and electrically connected to the roofing underlayment. In a preferred embodiment, each solar shingle further comprises a first layer of phase change material on a bottom surface of each solar shingle.

摘要： A roof integrated photovoltaic (RIPV) system has a plurality of solar tiles that are mounted to a roof. The tiles may be mounted using a metal batten and hanger system or some other attachment system. Each tile has an electrical edge junction extending reawardly from its top edge. The edge junction is coextensive with or contains the plane of the solar tile and may be slightly thicker than the solar tile. Sockets on opposed ends of the edge junction receive plugs of electrical cables for interconnecting the array of solar tiles together electrically. The edge junctions provide for a low profile installation that mimics the appearance of a traditional roofing tile such as a slate tile. The slightly thicker edge junctions may raise solar tiles of one course above the surfaces of solar tiles of a next lower course to provide ventilation for the RIPV array and to provide accommodating space for system wiring.

The waterproof connecting structure comprises two half components and a connecting component. The two half components are disposed between the two solar panels. The connecting component covers a joint between the two half components so that rainwater flowed into a conduit passage formed by each of the half components is guided out. Thereby, the rainwater is prevented from infiltrating into a building.

摘要： A modular integrated thermal-electric roofing system is disclosed. The system may include a thermal collector system configured with a photovoltaic system. The thermal collector system may include a liquid flowing through thermal tubing that may be heated by the sun. A pump and thermal control system may extract thermal energy from the liquid. A series of photovoltaic tiles may be configured on top of the thermal tubing to collect solar energy and convert it into electricity, and to aid in the heating of the thermal tubing. On doing so, the thermal tubing may cool the photovoltaic tiles. The system may be modular for easy installation. The system may also be mounted onto a support structure and may be portable and/or transportable.

The attachment pad is configured to electrically access, via a through hole, photovoltaic structures within the first photovoltaic roof tile.
