摘要： The disclosure relates to a method of resource allocation for supporting communications with a wireless device is provided. The method is performed in a network element of a wireless communication network. The method comprises differentiating (2710) between synchronous network functions and asynchronous network functions. The synchronous and asynchronous network functions are associated with the provision of communication services to the wireless device. The synchronous network functions have requirements on processing timing which are strictly dependent on timing of a radio link used for communicating with the wireless device. The asynchronous network functions have requirements on processing timing not strictly dependent on the timing of the radio link. The method also comprises allocating (2720) resources of the wireless communication network for the instantiation of a first network function based on whether the first network function is synchronous or asynchronous.

摘要： There is provided mechanisms for configuring mobility measurements. A method is performed by a network node. The method comprises obtaining parameters to be used for a mobility measurement procedure. The parameters are valid for at least two consecutive measurement sessions of the mobility measurement procedure. The method comprises providing a measurement order to a wireless device regarding the mobility measurement procedure. The measurement order comprises at least one of the parameters. The method comprises initiating transmission of mobility reference signals to the wireless device according to the parameters such that the mobility reference signals are transmitted during said at least two consecutive measurement sessions. There is also provided mechanisms for reporting such mobility measurements.

摘要： A wireless device (16) in a wireless communication system (10) is configured to perform measurements on a set of candidate links for supporting a network node (18) in the system (10) to make a decision as to which of the candidate links is to be a target link for a link switch. The wireless device (16) reports (e.g., at the physical layer) measured candidate links one link subset at a time in order of the wireless device's preference for the target link, until the wireless device (16) receives a target indication signal indicating which of the candidate links in the set is to be the target link. Any given link subset reports one or more candidate links which the wireless device (16) has measured for the decision. Responsive to receiving the target indication signal, the wireless device (16) performs the link switch to the indicated target link.
