    • Provided is an assembling method for a micro-loudspeaker assembly. The method comprises the steps of: (a) preparing a chuck ring material plate and a vibrating diaphragm material plate, and stamping a number of chuck ring inner holes in the chuck ring material plate; (b) coating an adhesive on the upper surface of the chuck ring material plate stamped with the chuck ring inner holes; (c) bonding the vibrating diaphragm material plate to the upper surface of the chuck ring material plate coated with an adhesive; (d) downwards stamping the part of the vibrating diaphragm material plate corresponding to the chuck ring inner holes into the central part of a vibrating diaphragm; and (e) stamping to form the outer edge of the assembly around the chuck ring inner holes, and removing the assembly from the material plate.

    • The invention proposes a suspension mount for sound reproduction devices according to the flexural wave principle. Characteristic for such devices is that a panel 10 is provided which must be flexibly attached to a holder 17. The panel 10 is composed of a core layer with a perforated structure, and two cover layers 12 which cover the core layer 11. Since the usual edge borders of conventional loudspeakers must be designed very hard due to the size and weight of the panel 10, the quality of the sound reproduction by such a device is reduced. For that reason the objective of the invention is a suspension mount which avoids the drawbacks of the state of the art. To that end it is proposed to build the suspension mount with the core layer 11 and/or at least one of the cover layers 12. If the core layer 11 itself provides the flexible attachment, it is also possible without any great effort to flexibly attach the panel 10 away from the edge areas. In that case the flexibility of the perforated structure of the core layer 11 is used as a spring element.

    • A loudspeaker clamping structure embodying an improved compression driver is provided. The clamping structure is configured to utilize a totality of the air contained within a cover coupled to a magnet structure of a loudspeaker. The clamping structure includes a compression driver that extends about the periphery of a membrane for clamping the membrane to the magnet structure. The cover includes an annular ring configured to engage the compression driver. At least one of the ring and compression driver is configured with a plurality of interstices along its length to provide interstitial gaps when the ring and compression driver are engaged. The interstitial gaps allow a volume of air within a central cavity to communicate with a second volume of air located in a peripheral cavity, to increase the quantity of available air that the membrane radiates into, so that the dimensions of the cover can be reduced without diminishing the quality of sound, and particularly the low frequency response, produced by the loudspeaker.
