摘要： A Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) server is configured to provide VoIP services to a plurality of VoIP-capable endpoint devices. Geolocation information identifying a first geographic location of the particular endpoint device is received at the VoIP server and from an application running on a VoIP-capable endpoint device. A second geographic location for an IP address is compared to the first geographic location. In response to a mismatch between the compared geographic locations, a location database is modified to include an entry specifying that the particular endpoint device is located at the first geographic location. For an outgoing telephone call from the endpoint device, the modified entry is used to select a telephone carrier. The outgoing telephone call is routed using the selected telephone carrier.

摘要： A method and apparatus for delivering a service to an end point, such as a UE or server, via a communication network, is provided. A virtual network is pre-configured to handle service packets and includes virtual routers for routing packets via logical tunnels. The end point pre-registers with the virtual network and/or service and receives operating parameters for use in service access. The end point location may be tracked following pre-registration. The end point subsequently transmits and/or receives service packets using the operating parameters via an edge node, such as an access node or gateway. The edge node transmits service packets using the operating parameters and, upon detecting operating parameter usage by the end point, forwards received service packets to the virtual network. Operating parameters may include an identifier included in the packet. The end point may use multiple different edge nodes to access the service.

摘要： An aspect of the disclosure provides for a method for user equipment (UE) internet protocol (IP) address management. The method includes sending by an application function (AF), a request to a policy control function (PCF), the request including information identifying traffic and an indication that a UE IP address associated with the traffic should be preserved. The method further includes sending by the PCF, to a session management function (SMF) being responsible for managing a Protocol Data Unit (PDU) session associated with the traffic, a policy and charging control (PCC) rule including the indication. In some embodiments, the request is sent by the AF to the PCF via a network exposure function (NEF). In some embodiments, the method further includes managing, by the SMF, the UE IP address according to the PCC rule. In some embodiments, the managing includes preserving the UE IP address for a PDU session associated with the traffic. In some embodiments, the preserving includes preventing reselection of a protocol data unit (PDU) session anchor (PSA) to which the UE IP address is associated.
