    • A first signal generator is arranged to generate a first signal. A ranging code generator is arranged for generating a ranging code. A mixer is capable of accepting the ranging code and the first signal and outputting a locally generated reference signal. After down-conversion and digitization of the received composite signal, the code correlator can correlate the digital received composite signal to the locally generated reference signal to decode at least a first portion of the received composite signal, while leaving a second portion of the received composite signal undecoded. A tracking loop signal processor can process one or more digital signals, of the locally generated reference signal with respect to the digital received composite signal to maximize correlation of the received composite signal to the locally generated reference signal.

    • A distributed antenna system and related methods are provided to reduce interference among wireless mobile devices in a distributed antenna system. A combiner is provided that is configured to be coupled to a plurality of remote transceiver stations deployed in a coverage area and which wirelessly transmit downlink signals to and receive uplink signals from wireless mobile devices. A plurality of input streams that carry uplink signals transmitted by wireless mobile devices are received on individually assigned signal paths from each of the remote transceiver stations. At least one parameter of an input stream received from the one or more of the remote transceiver stations is monitored. A mapping function is determined based on the monitoring. The plurality of input streams are combined based on the mapping function to produce the two or more output streams and the two or more output streams are sent to corresponding receivers in a base station.

    • In a 60 Hz WGA wireless network, not all frames with the duration field are received by a STA in a WGA network because of directional antennas. Therefore, a NAV Timer cannot account for the reserved duration of the channel by only updating with the longest duration field received. A STA can receive two frames each with a source and destination addresses and update the NAV Timer by comparing the received addresses to overcome such problem. Further, a STA can receive one frame with a source and destination addresses and update the NAV Timer by comparing the received addresses with the NAVSRC and NAVDST values.

    • A tracking circuit has first and second filters controlled by clock signals and a combiner. Each filter has N paths in parallel between an input and an output, each path comprising a respective first/second sub-circuit and a switch (N is an integer >1). The clock signals selectively control each of the N switches of the first and second filters at a same frequency, and in variously described embodiments the first and second on-time durations may be different, the first and second sub-circuits may be different, or both first/second on-time durations and first/second sub-circuits may be different. Signals output from the first and second filter are added at a combiner. In certain examples each path in the first and second filter is controlled by same-phase clock signals, and every path on either filter are controlled with different-phase clock signals.

    • A method and a device for mapping Ethernet code blocks to an optical transport network (OTN) for transmission is provided. According to a preset mapping manner, four groups of 10 Gigabit (10G) Ethernet code blocks are uniformly mapped to a payload area of a general frame provision (GFP) frame, or each group of 10G Ethernet code blocks is interleaved into the payload area of each row of the OTN frame. Thus, specific solutions for mapping four groups of 10G Ethernet code blocks having an encoding rate smaller than the minimum payload bandwidth of the OPU3 to the OTN for transmission are provided, thereby achieving transparent transmission without changing the mature OTN architecture.
