摘要： A display device has a plurality of display panels (21) together forming a single display screen, where each display panel (21) is connected to a display controller (24) which receives display data of a portion of a complete image for display on the display panel (21). The complete image (S1) includes one or more bounded regions (S2, S3, S4, S5) of display data. Each display controller (21) also receives position information relating to a change in lateral position and/or stacking order position of one or more bounded regions that are to be displayed at least partly on that display panel (21). If the display controller (24) determines that it does not have knowledge of display data in the bounded region (S2, S3, S4, S5) to be displayed on the display panel for which the position information was received, it obtains that knowledge from another display controller (24) that has such knowledge. The display controller (24) then processes the display data for the portion of the complete image utilising the knowledge obtained from another display controller (24), and outputs the processed display data for the portion of the complete image to the corresponding display panel (21).

摘要： A number of computing devices are controlled from a touchscreen display system using a Touch Intermediator Machine (TIM) receiving information indicating the location of one or more touches on a connected touchscreen panel. The TIM determines whether the pattern of touches received matches one of a pre-programmed set of interface manipulation gestures. If so, the TIM alters the user interface presented on the connected touchscreen display system depending on the gesture detected. If not, the TIM determines the connected computing device associated with the location of the touch received and updated coordinates of the touch received within an area on the touchscreen display system associated with the connected computing device. The TIM transmits information to the relevant connected computing device regarding the touch received. The computing device processes the information to determine the pattern of touches received and responds according to predetermined instructions for user interaction.

A set of processed portions stored in the output buffer is determined based on sizes of the processed portions, the set starting after a previous actual start field where the set has a size less than the maximum size and a potential start field space after a last of the processed portions in the set is replaced by an actual start field to define the set. Sets of processed portions delimited by actual start fields may then be output.

摘要： A method of generating display data at a display control device for display on a movable display involves receiving and storing a current frame of display data from a host device. The current frame is then processed and output for display on the movable display. Sensor data from sensors associated with the movable display is received and stored, the sensor data indicating movement and/or position of the movable display. If it is determined that a next frame of display data is not ready at the display control device for processing and outputting to the movable display at a required time, then an estimated next frame of display data is generated using the stored current frame and the stored sensor data and the estimated frame of display data is output for display on the movable display. The sensor data may be received either before or after the current frame is received, stored, processed or output.
