摘要： An amplifier device includes an amplifying unit and a bias module. The amplifying unit has a first end coupled to a voltage source configured to receive a source voltage, a second end configured to receive an input signal, and a third end coupled to a first reference potential terminal configured to receive a first reference potential. The first end of the amplifying unit is configured to output an output signal amplified by the amplifying unit. The bias module is coupled to the second end of the amplifying unit, and configured to receive a voltage signal to generate a bias current according to a first counter-gradient and a second counter-gradient, and provide the bias current to the amplifying unit. The voltage signal is a variable voltage. A supply current flowing into the amplifying unit and is adjusted in accordance with the voltage signal to stay within a predetermined range.

In one aspect, the active current compensation device includes a sensing unit configured to generate an output signal corresponding to a common-mode noise current on each of the two or more high-current paths, and an amplification unit configured to amplify the output signal to generate an amplified current. The device may also include a compensation unit configured to generate a compensation current on the basis of the amplified current and allow the compensation current to flow to each of the two or more high-current paths, and a malfunction detection unit configured to detect a malfunction of the amplification unit. The malfunction detection unit and at least a portion of the amplification unit may be embedded in one integrated circuit (IC) chip.

The buffer circuit includes a Current Differencing Transconductance Amplifier (CDTA) comprising a first input node and a second input node each configured to receive a respective one of a first signal and a second signal. The buffer circuit further includes a first source follower circuit coupled to a first output node of the CDTA and configured to generate a first buffer output signal based on a first output signal of the CDTA. Additionally, the buffer circuit includes a second source follower circuit coupled to a second output node of the CDTA and configured to generate a second buffer output signal based on a second output signal of the CDTA. The buffer circuit further includes a first feedback path comprising at least one of a first resistive element and a first capacitive element. The first feedback path couples an output node of the first source follower circuit to the first input node of the CDTA. In addition, the buffer circuit includes a second feedback path comprising at least one of a second resistive element and a second capacitive element. The second feedback path couples an output node of the second source follower circuit to the second input node of the CDTA.

摘要： Various methods and circuital arrangements for biasing one or more gates of stacked transistors of an amplifier are presented, where the amplifier can have a varying supply voltage. According to one aspect, the gate of the input transistor of the amplifier is biased with a fixed voltage whereas the gates of the other transistors of the amplifier are biased with variable voltages that are linear functions of the varying supply voltage. According to another aspect, the linear functions are such that the variable voltages coincide with the fixed voltage at a value of the varying supply voltage for which the input transistor is at the edge of triode. According to another aspect, biasing of the stacked transistors is such that, while the supply voltage varies, the drain-to-source voltage of the input transistor is maintained to a fixed value whereas the drain-to-source voltages of all other transistors are equal to one another.

摘要： A capacitive trans-impedance amplifier comprising a voltage amplifier having an inverting input terminal for connection to an input current source. A feed-back capacitor is coupled between the inverting input terminal and the output terminal to accumulate charges received from the input current source and to generate a feed-back voltage accordingly. A calibration unit includes a calibration capacitor electrically coupled, via a calibration switch, to the inverting input terminal and electrically coupled to the feed-back capacitor. The calibration unit is operable to switch the calibration switch to a calibration state permitting a discharge of a quantity of charge from the calibration capacitor to the feed-back capacitor. The capacitive trans-impedance amplifier is arranged to determine a voltage generated across the feed-back capacitor while the calibration switch is in the calibration state and to determine a capacitance value (C=Q/V) for the feed-back capacitor according to the value of the generated voltage (V) and the quantity of charge (Q).

The control device can be enabled to provide the signals to the low voltage circuit of the interface cell to adjust parameters of the circuit and can be disabled to isolate the circuit from the interface cell after providing the signals to the low voltage circuit.
