摘要： Internal combustion engines, including engines producing power from solid or slow burning fuel(s), such as biological-based or petroleum-based fuels, wood, corn, biomass, coal, and waste products, and/or possibly other liquid or gaseous fluids, as well as methods for operating or implementing such engines, are disclosed herein. In an example embodiment, the engine includes a crankshaft, a piston, a cylinder having an internal cavity and several ports, and an assembly having a chamber having a first region within which solid fuel can be situated and combusted. The assembly further includes a diverter valve so that, depending upon a setting of the valve and during engine operation, first and second amounts of compressed air respectively proceed to the first region and to bypass the first region, and a combination of combustion products and the second amount proceeds via one of the ports to the part of the internal cavity.

摘要： A cover body (2) for a valve rotating device includes a ring-shaped upper part (4) and a ring-shaped lower part (6). The upper part (4) and the lower part (6) are axially spaced apart and are adapted to accommodate an axial spring element (24) therebetween. The upper part (4) and the lower part (6) are connected to one another by at least one connecting piece arranged at the location opposite an insertion position of the axial spring element (24).
A valve rotating device (12) having such a cover body is also provided. A ring-shaped base body (22) has a plurality of pockets (16) oriented in a circumferential direction, in each of which a ball (14) and a tangential spring (32) are arranged. The pockets (16) have a variable depth in the circumferential direction such that inclined raceways (26) for the balls (14) arranged therein are formed. The tangential springs (32) push the balls (14) toward an end of the respective pocket (16). The axial spring element (24) is ring-shaped and a first end of the axial spring element (24) is supported on an ring-shaped stop surface (18) of the base body (22) and a second end of the axial spring element (24) is supported on a surface of the upper part (4) of the cover. A surface of the lower part (6) facing away from the axial spring element (24) rests against the balls (14), and wherein the halls (14) and the axial spring element (24) are arranged overlapping in the axial direction.
A method for producing a cover both (2) for a valve rotating device is also provided.

Further, there is a regulating member that is coupled to the first end portion of the swinging arm so as to be rotatable and regulates displacement of the first end portion of the swinging arm relative to the valve when the second end portion of the swinging arm is moved by the moving device. The mechanism further includes a connection member that connects the second end portion of the swinging arm to the moving device.

摘要： A compression release engine in-cylinder braking system, comprising a valve mechanism, an oil cylinder device, an oil pump device, and an oil supply device. The oil cylinder device and the oil pump device of each air cylinder communicate with each other through a pressure transmission oil circuit, which communicates with the oil supply device through a low-pressure relief valve. An air release valve is arranged at the high end of an oil circuit system. During in-cylinder braking, the air release valve is closed, an electromagnetic reversing valve is energized, engine oil having a pressure of P1 is supplied to the pressure transmission oil circuit, and a cam abuts against and pushes the oil pump device to pump high-pressure oil to the oil cylinder device, so as to push a rocker arm to open a valve, thereby achieving in-cylinder braking.

摘要： A two-wheeled vehicle is provided including a frame, front and rear ground-engaging members each supporting the frame, a straddle-type seat, a handlebar for steering the vehicle, at least one light device configured to operate in a hazard mode, an engine supported by the frame and operably coupled to the ground-engaging members, a tilt sensor, and a vehicle control unit in communication with the tilt sensor. The vehicle control unit is operative to detect a tilt angle of the vehicle based on output from the tilt sensor. The vehicle control unit is operative to determine a tip-over condition of the vehicle based on the detected tilt angle exceeding a threshold tilt angle. The vehicle control unit activates the hazard mode of the at least one light in response to the determination of the tip-over condition.
