    • The present invention relates to a method for configuring and transmitting an HARQ ACK/NACK signal by bundling said signal about a component carrier wave of a downlink subframe linked with an uplink subframe transmitting an HARQ ACK/NACK signal on PUCCH format 3. More particularly, the method comprises the steps of: determining a mode for bundling an HARQ ACK/NACK signal; and configuring the bundled HARQ ACK/NACK signal according to the determined bundling mode, wherein in the step of determining the bundling mode, all the component carriers of the downlink subframe transmitting the HARQ ACK/NACK signal to an uplink subframe are bundled when the downlink channel is in a worse state than the predetermined reference state, and some of the component carriers of the downlink subframe transmitting the HARQ ACK/NACK signal to an uplink subframe are bundled when the downlink channel is not in a worse state.

    • Methods and wireless communication devices for access procedure enhancement are provided. The wireless communication device for access procedure enhancement includes a transceiver module and a communication protocol module. The transceiver module performs wireless transmissions and receptions. The communication protocol module receives a page message from a base station via the transceiver module, transmits at least one access probe via the transceiver module, and terminates the transmission of the rest of an access probe payload of the at least one access probe according to a termination criterion. Moreover, the access probe is transmitted using a transmission power which is lower than a first threshold, and the access probe is transmitted at a data rate lower than a second threshold.

    • Systems and methodologies are described that facilitate communicating reverse link control information over OFDMA control channel(s) and CDMA control channel(s). Dedicated OFDMA control channel resources can be assigned to mobile device(s). Control information related to one or more logical control channels can be generated by a mobile device. Further, a physical control channel type (e.g., OFDMA control channel or a CDMA control channel) can be selected for sending the control information via the reverse link. For example, control information associated with periodic, logical control channels can be multiplexed and sent over the OFDMA control channel (e.g., utilizing the dedicated OFDMA control channel resources) while control information related to non-periodic, logical control channels can be transmitted over the CDMA control channel.
