摘要： A method and apparatus for selecting a resource for transmission may be performed by a WTRU. The method may comprise determining a priority of a data packet and determining a CBR of a resource pool. The WTRU may set a backoff counter to an initial backoff value, in accordance with at least one of the priority of the packet or the CBR. A CCA may be performed in a plurality of resource slots to determine whether the resource slots are available. The backoff counter may be decreased by the number of available resources in each slot. When the backoff counter reaches a threshold value, which may be set at 0, the resource for transmission may be randomly selected. The WTRU may then transmit data to another WTRU on the randomly selected resource.

A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) that is a member of a first group may receive a preamble in a first time slot set, and determine a group associated with the first time slot. On a condition that the LBT is successful, the WTRU may transmit a clear-to-send (CTS) on the channel and access the channel in the first time slot. A WTRU may determine a first resource associated with first transmission and a second resource associated with second transmission for uplink (UL) NOMA. The WTRU may generate control information including selection information of the second resource. The WTRU may transmit the control information using the UL NOMA on the first resource. The WTRU may then receive one or more indicators indicating whether the second transmission uses OMA or NOMA. The one or more indicators may comprise a discontinue NOMA transmission indicator (DTI) and a NOMA type transmission indicator (NMI). If the DTI indicates the OMA, the WTRU transmit data on the second resource using the OMA. If the DTI indicates the NOMA, the WTRU transmit, based on the NMI, data on the second resource using the UL NOMA.

A WTRU may receive indication of the MAS information or DMRS information via a subgrouping-based scheme, a bitmap indication, or a binary threshold. A WTRU may receive an indication of a resource group size from the network entity. Based on the resource group size, the WTRU may determine whether the MAS information or the DMRS information is indicated via the subgrouping-based scheme or via the binary threshold scheme. The WTRU, based on how the MAS information or the DMRS information is indicated, may determine a resource to be used for a NOMA transmission. The WTRU may send the NOMA transmission using the determined resource.
