摘要： A base for supporting posts of fencing, which base includes a block of plastics provided with apertures for receiving the ends of fencing posts. Each end of the block is provided with a gripping portion which projects longitudinally away from the main body of the block. A first interlocking means is associated with one of the gripping portions and interlocks with a corresponding second interlocking means of a cover which is fitted to the block over the gripping portion. 摘要： A chain link fence with retained slats having slats inserted into the chain link fence and running between the top of the fence and the bottom of the fence. At least one band (which band may, itself, be a single elongate element or a combination of elongate elements) runs transversely across the interior of each such slat through an internal passage. Each band and each slat is inserted into said chain link fence before installation of said chain link fence. Preferably, when viewed looking at the face of the band, each band is tapered, as also is each band when viewed looking at the side of such band. At least one external opening of each internal passage is beveled, and at least one external opening of each internal passage has a concave shape when seen in a plan view looking at the face of each said slat.

The system also includes a locking member received in the upright keyway of the wall member and positioned such that interaction between the locking member and portions of the bracket prevent the wall member from being pulled away from the bracket.

摘要： A pedestrian barricade segment is attachable to adjacent similar segments using a hinge construction to form a barricade of a desired configuration. A support leg is rotatable between a stowed and a deployed orientation. A recess is disposed in the segment for receiving the leg when it is stowed. A locking ramp secures the leg in the recess. A foot pocket is disposed in the rear vertical face above the recess so that a user may insert their foot into the foot pocket and use the foot to push the leg downwardly, thereby releasing the leg from the locking ramp for deploying the leg. The leg hinge structure includes a wedge and a wave washer disposed on a flat surface of the block, for securing one end of the leg. The leg hinge structure pre-loads the leg, with the wedge, creating a pivoting bushing surface for rotating the leg.

摘要： The invention is a double-hinged sill for adjustable securing the panels of a handrail system to a floor, the sill has U-shaped channel. A pair of hinged plates is pivotally mounted within the channel. A cylindrical hinge member is provided at the bottom end of each of the hinge plates and extends the length of the hinge plate. A groove for receiving the cylindrical hinge member is provided at the bottom of the sill. The pair of hinge plates is aligned within the sill as mirror images. A series of adjustment and locking screws are provided along the length of the sill and extend there through from either the top of the sill or the sides of the sill and a readapted to selectively impinge against the pair of hinge plates to movably adjust the plates inwardly against a glass panel or outwardly away from a glass panel to vertically align the same and lock it into place.

摘要： A privacy fence includes a lower base portion and a telescopically extendable upper portion that is vertically movable relative to the lower base portion to provide a privacy fence that has a selectively adjustable height. The lower base portion is formed of a panel section extending between two spaced apart posts. The upper telescopic portion also includes a panel member extending between two post members wherein the panel member is received within the interior of the base panel portion and the two post members are received within the posts and connected to an actuation mechanism. As desired, the actuation mechanism can be operated to move the post members vertically, which in turn raises the panel member telescopically out of the base panel portion. Optional flower pots can be mounted on top of the post members to be movable therewith, or to provide flower pots on conventional fence posts.
