In an example, a user equipment (UE) can include first circuitry configured to detect a downlink control channel within a prior specified subframe that is received in time before the subframe n. The UE can include second circuitry configured to: determine that the downlink control channel detected within the prior specified subframe is one of a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) or an enhanced physical downlink control channel (EPDCCH); and determine one of a legacy PUCCH resource for the HARQ-ACK transmission when the downlink control channel detected within the prior specified subframe is the PDCCH or an enhanced PUCCH resource for the HARQ-ACK transmission when the downlink control channel detected within the prior specified subframe is the EPDCCH.

As one example, a user equipment (UE) utilizes a modem to perform video telephony (VT) communication with a remote device through a wireless network. The UE determines a network metric indicative of congestion in the wireless network based on modem information obtained from the modem, independent of feedback information received from the remote device. The UE dynamically adjusts a data rate of the VT communication by an amount proportional to a quantity based on the network metric.

摘要： An encoding control unit obtains a quantization step size and a video encoding rate Rc on the basis of various kinds of conditions including a transmission time and image quality specified through an input unit by a user, and property of image contents from a signal compression processing unit. Next, the video encoding rate Rc is compared with a network transmission rate Rt which is obtained through a network IF unit. Then, if the transmission rate Rt of the network is smaller than the video encoding rate Rc and is present in the range any of values of which is equal to or larger than the value smaller than Rc by a predetermined quantity, then the quantization step size is corrected in such a way that the video encoding rate Rc is equal to or smaller than the transmission rate Rt of the network, or in such a way that the video encoding rate Rc is increased. As a result, it is possible to provide an apparatus for transmitting dubbing data of a digital VTR which is capable of suppressing the degradation of a transmission throughput.

摘要： In a method of communicating between an ATM-UNI and a LAN in a communication apparatus, which has an ATM-UNI interface and a LAN interface for performing communication between these interfaces via an ATM switch, transmission data in an ATM-cell format is received from a terminal connected to the ATM-UNI interface to a terminal connected to the LAN interface. The ATM cells are accumulated in a buffer memory provided in the ATM-UNI interface and assembled into a frame. Completion of reception of all ATM cells of one frame is recognized and it is determined whether there is margin for a transmission by referring to a status of vacancy of a LAN interface corresponding to the other party to communication. One frame of the ATM cells accumulated in the buffer memory is transferred to the LAN interface corresponding to the other party via the ATM switch in a case where there is margin for transmission. The ATM cells are converted into a frame at this LAN interface and the frame is sent to a LAN terminal.
