Accordingly, a testing voltage is prevented from continually being applied to an identical area of the transfer belt, thus preventing deformation and abrasions of the transfer belt due to stress. Also, an accurate average resistance to apply a compensated voltage can be measured according to an environment, thus facilitating the supply of a uniform amount of an electric current to the transfer roller and the formation of a high-resolution image.
