In an embodiment implemented in a UE (User Equipment), the method includes configuring the UE with a plurality of serving cells, wherein the TTI bundling and secondary cells with configured UL (uplink) could be simultaneously configured for the UE. In an embodiment from the perspective of a network, the method includes issuing, from a E-UTRAN (Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio Access Network), a message to configure a UE with a plurality of serving cells, wherein the E-UTRAN could simultaneously configure the TTI bundling and the secondary cells with configured UL for the UE.

The method includes a WCN allocating dedicated resource for a first D2D data session and common resource for a second D2D data session in a user equipment (UE), wherein the first D2D data session and the second D2D data session are active simultaneously in the UE. The method could also include the WCN receiving a corresponding request message from the UE for establishing each D2D data session. The method could further include the WCN transmitting a response message to the UE in response to reception of the corresponding request message, wherein the response message includes resource information that indicates which type of resource is allocated for each D2D data session.

The method includes switching the operating frequency from a first frequency to a second frequency when the UE activates to receive a MBMS service of a service group; and switching the operating frequency from the second frequency to the first frequency when the UE determines not to receive any MBMS services provided on the second frequency.

摘要： In order to enhance system efficiency, a method of improving reset of an evolved media access control (MAC-ehs) protocol entity for a user equipment in a wireless communications system is disclosed. The MAC-ehs entity includes a first reset function and a second reset function. The first reset function is activated according to an upper layer request, while the second rest function is activated when any reset timer of the MAC-ehs protocol entity expires. The method includes the steps of activating the first reset function, and stopping all active reset timers of the MAC-ehs protocol entity and setting all reset timers of the MAC-ehs protocol entity to their initial values.
