The base preferably includes a split handle that closes over the deployable pole when it is stowed and separates to permit it being deployed and stowed. The deployable pole is preferably a telescoping pole that pivotably deploys and stows, and is extendable and collapsible. The base may include one or more deployable legs that cooperate with the base for aiding stability.

摘要： A light mountable on a handgun may comprise: a light module including one or more light sources, a cavity for a source of electrical power, a switch, a circuit for energizing the light sources; and an outer housing having complementary parts configured to enclose the light module and a part of the handgun. The outer light housing may include an access cover that is openable when the light is mounted on a handgun, for placing and removing the source of electrical power. Light sources may include an illumination source and an aiming source. A lighting circuit includes a controllable electronic device in series with a power terminal of a controller, wherein operation of the switch causes the controller to maintain the electronic device conductive, whereby the controller then remains powered; and wherein the controller responds to a subsequent operation of the switch to render the electronic device nonconductive, whereby the controller is then unpowered even when electrical power is received.

The inner wall defines a central plenum (116) within the skirt, the skirt including gas pockets (130) arranged to stiffen one or more regions of at least one of the inner (101) and outer (100) sidewalls during deflation of the skirt. A gas pocket fan inflates the gas pockets prior to and during deflation of the skirt, wherein the gas pockets are constrained to move from a mutually spaced apart position when the skirt is inflated, to a mutually closely adjacent position when the skirt is fully deflated.

摘要： A tiled head-mounted display device comprises an optical component including a plurality of prisms with free-form surfaces, and a display component including a plurality of micro-displays (6), wherein the number of the micro-displays (6) and the number of the prisms with free-form surfaces is identical, and each prism with free-form surfaces and the corresponding micro-display (6) constitute a display channel. Each prism is a wedge prism including a first surface (2), a second surface (3) and a third surface (4). The exit pupil planes of each display channel are coincident, thus avoiding pupil aberration and keeping exit pupil diameter and eye clearance same as a single ocular. There is no resolution variance throughout the entire field of view, thus preventing extra trapezoid distortion. The tiled head-mounted display device is compact and lightweight, and provides wide field of view and high resolution. The tiled head-mounted display device can be readily applicable to augmented environments applications by simply adding an auxiliary free-form lens behind the prism with free-form surfaces.
