    • A photosensitive unit is described. The photosensitive unit may include a developer cartridge including a developing agent carrier and a casing, a photosensitive member, and a side wall. The casing is provided with a pivoting member including a pressuring portion applied with an external pressing force and a fitting projection fitted to the side wall. The pivoting member is configured to be pivoted along a pressing direction for pressing the developing agent carrier toward the photosensitive member when a pressing force is applied to the pressuring portion, or along a pressure releasing direction opposite to the pressing direction. The side wall is formed with a fit portion to which the fitting projection is loosely fitted so that a movement of the fitting projection along a pivoting direction of the pivoting member is allowed.

    • An image forming device includes: a main body; a plurality of image forming units; a holding unit; and an engagement mechanism. Each of the plurality of image forming units has a developing portion. The holding unit holds the plurality of image forming units. The plurality of image forming units are aligned in the holding unit in a predetermined drawing direction. The holding unit is configured so as to be drawn out in the predetermined drawing direction from a storage position where the holding unit is stored in the main body. The holding unit sequentially reaches a plurality of different drawing positions while moving in the predetermined drawing direction. The plurality of image forming units are sequentially exposed to the outside while the holding unit sequentially reaches the plurality of drawing positions. The engagement mechanism is configured to engage the holding unit with the main body when the holding unit reaches each of the plurality of drawing positions.

    • An image forming apparatus may include an apparatus body, and a photosensitive-member unit slidably attached the apparatus body and retaining a plurality of photosensitive members. The apparatus body includes side wall portions opposing each other with a unit receiving section sandwiched therebetween, and a plurality of apparatus-body-side electrode members provided on the side wall portions, and each urged inward in an opposing direction of the side wall portions. The photosensitive-member unit includes a plurality of unit-side electrode members each protruding outward in the opposite direction and a guide path comprising a flat surface formed in a flat shape so that each of the apparatus-body-side electrode members slidably contacts to the flat surface during attachment of the photosensitive-member unit with respect to the unit receiving section, and that each of the apparatus-body-side electrode members slidably contacted maintains a constant inward and outward position in the opposite direction.

    • An image forming apparatus includes a developing unit, a transfer unit, and a photosensitive drum assembly. The drum assembly has a photosensitive drum, a driven section integral with the photosensitive drum, and a driving section which transmits a driving force to the driven section to rotate the photosensitive drum. Either one of the driven section and the driving section comprises a contact face, which constitutes a part of a plane including a rotation axis of the photosensitive drum. The other of the driven section and the driving section comprises a single boss, which is substantially in parallel with the rotation axis and contacts the contact face.

    • A color laser printer includes a plurality of photosensitive drums and a paper-conveying belt disposed in confrontation with the photosensitive drums. The paper-conveying belt conveys a sheet of paper as the photosensitive drums sequentially transfer toner images thereon. This printer also includes a tension-adjusting mechanism capable of adjusting the tension state produced in the paper-conveying belt, and a controller for controlling the tension-adjusting mechanism. Through the control of the controller, the tension-adjusting mechanism is capable of adjusting the tension state of the paper-conveying belt between a first tension state used for transferring toner images from the photosensitive drum, and a second tension state producing a tension greater than that produced by the first tension state for performing a cleaning operation.
