    • A portable thermal oven includes a metal frame and a plurality of terracotta panels disposed inside of the frame and defining an enclosed chamber having a front panel, a rear panel, two opposite side panels, a top panel and a bottom panel. The furnace also includes a terracotta door hingedly disposed in the front panel and including a handle on one side thereof for opening and closing the door. A plurality of gas manifolds and a plurality of gas burners are disposed on each of the two opposite sides of the chamber and a ventilation hatch is disposed in the top panel for exhausting fumes and excess heat. A first and a second gas cylinder and pipes for connecting the gas cylinders to the manifolds for supplying gas and/or air to the manifolds are also provided.

    • The subject innovation relates to a multi-deck chamber furnace for heating up workpieces comprising a furnace housing having at least two horizontal furnace chambers that are arranged vertically one above the other, whereby each furnace chamber has an opening in a furnace wall on one side, and said opening can be closed by a furnace door. The furnace is characterized in that the furnace doors are arranged in front of the openings of the appertaining furnace chambers in such a way that the transversal axes of the furnace doors enclose an angle α with the furnace wall that is greater than 0° and smaller than 45°, whereby the transversal axis of a furnace door runs perpendicular to the horizontal axis of a furnace door. Furthermore, the furnace doors can be moved linearly along these transversal axes.

    • An exemplary embodiment of the invention provides a side well for a metal melting furnace. The side well comprises an insulated body having a front wall adapted to form part of an insulated side wall of a metal melting furnace and a top, a cavity within the body including a single upright well having a cylindrical wall adjacent to a closed bottom of the cavity, an entrance to the cavity at the top of the insulated body, a metal inlet channel leading directly into the cavity from an inlet aperture in the front wall, and a metal outlet channel leading directly from the cavity to a metal outlet aperture in the front wall. The side well includes a rotatable impeller having a vertical rotatable shaft and at least one vaned section positioned at a lower end of the rotatable shaft; wherein the impeller extends into the cavity with the vaned section positioned in the well adjacent to the cylindrical wall.

    • A non-ferrous metal melting furnace includes a non-ferrous metal melt pump, a vortex chamber body, and a magnetic field device formed of permanent magnets. The vortex chamber body makes a non-ferrous metal melt flow into a vortex chamber from an inlet, makes the non-ferrous metal melt flow in a spiral shape by applying a driving force to the non-ferrous metal melt in the vortex chamber, and discharges the non-ferrous metal melt from the vortex chamber to an outlet. The magnetic field device formed of permanent magnets is disposed outside the vortex chamber and below a bottom plate of the vortex chamber, and applies the driving force that is generated by current flowing in the non-ferrous metal melt and magnetic lines of force from the magnetic field device formed of permanent magnets.

    • A marine life decontamination system embodiment of the present invention comprises a drive-in chamber large enough to accommodate a boat on its trailer and even the two vehicle too. Once inside the chamber, eaters are used to bring the boat and trailer temperatures up to 112° F. to 165° F. for a minimum soak-in time, with five minutes being sufficient in most cases. Humidity measurements of the off-gassing water vapors are used to sense when all the available water that could harbor marine life has been removed. Such combination of high temperatures and no available water assures that pests cannot survive to contaminate a new body of water.
