摘要： Technologies for Ethernet gateway congestion management in HPC architectures include a high-performance computing (HPC) switch with an Ethernet gateway that is configured to receive an HPC packet from an HPC fabric via a virtual lane (VL) of the Ethernet gateway. The Ethernet gateway is further configured to determine whether the HPC packet corresponds to a backward error correction notification (BECN), identify one or more priority code points (PCPs) of the HPC packet corresponding to a BECN as a function of the VL on which the HPC packet was received, and generate an Ethernet priority-based flow control (PFC) frame that includes the one or more identified PCPs in a header of the Ethernet PFC frame. Additionally, the Ethernet gateway is configured to transmit the Ethernet PFC frame to an Ethernet fabric as a function of the one or more identified PCPs. Other embodiments are described herein.

摘要： User equipment (UE) can be connected to both a first base station and a second base station. A flow controller at the first base station can determine packet latency goals associated with packets. The flow controller can also determine connection latencies associated with a first connection from the first base station to the UE and a second connection from the second base station to the UE, where one leg of a split bearer passes from the first base station to the UE over the first connection and another leg of the split bearer passes from the first base station to the second base station and then to the UE over the second connection. The flow controller can route packets with lower packet latency goals via the leg of the lower-latency connection, and route other packets with higher packet latency goals over the leg of the higher-latency connection.

Techniques are disclosed for provisioning applications on remote devices to access resources in an enterprise system. Specifically, applications may be automatically configured with access information (e.g., account information) and connection information to access a resource in an enterprise system using a remote device. Configuring an application may include determining an account for accessing a resource using the application. An account may be provisioned if one has not been established. Upon configuring an application, the device access management system may provide a configured application to the remote device(s) for which the application is configured. Once the configured application is received, the application may be automatically installed on the remote device, after which the application may be executed to access a resource.

A traffic assignment can have various parameters such as bandwidth, transmission costs etc. Each execution plan has one or more steps, and each step has one or more traffic assignment changes progressing from the first set of traffic assignments to the second set of traffic assignments. The network device can automatically select an execution plan based on an evaluation metric determined for each execution plan. The evaluation metric can be a cost based metric or a quality based metric.

摘要： Some embodiments provide a novel method for load balancing data messages that are sent by a source compute node (SCN) to one or more different groups of destination compute nodes (DCNs). In some embodiments, the method deploys a load balancer in the source compute node's egress datapath. This load balancer receives each data message sent from the source compute node, and determines whether the data message is addressed to one of the DCN groups for which the load balancer spreads the data traffic to balance the load across (e.g., data traffic directed to) the DCNs in the group. When the received data message is not addressed to one of the load balanced DCN groups, the load balancer forwards the received data message to its addressed destination. On the other hand, when the received data message is addressed to one of load balancer's DCN groups, the load balancer identifies a DCN in the addressed DCN group that should receive the data message, and directs the data message to the identified DCN. To direct the data message to the identified DCN, the load balancer in some embodiments changes the destination address (e.g., the destination IP address, destination port, destination MAC address, etc.) in the data message from the address of the identified DCN group to the address (e.g., the destination IP address) of the identified DCN.
