    • A sheet discharging apparatus is constructed of a sorting device and a reversible conveying device. Normal sheets are fed by the sorting device and conveyed in an arrangement in zigzag in two rows and conveyed on a primary path. Near an exit of the primary path, there is a high speed discharging roller pair having a drive roller and a nip roller. Between the drive roller and a drive shaft, there is a frictional connection unit. While the sheet is conveyed by conveying roller pairs, a front edge of the sheet reaches the high speed discharging roller pair, and the drive roller freely rotates due to the effect of the frictional connection unit. When a rear edge of the sheet passes the conveying roller pair, the frictional connection unit is set into a connecting situation, and the sheet is discharged by the drive roller and the nip roller.

    • On a paper path in a photo printer, a skew corrector is provided to correct skew of recording sheets simultaneously in two lines. The skew corrector consists of a first conveyer roller pair, a second conveyer roller pair and a strike guide. The recording sheets are conveyed by the first conveyer roller pair after their leading edges strike on the strike guide, to bend the recording sheets flexibly between the first conveyer roller pair and the strike guide, thereby to correct skew of each recording sheet. A necessary transport amount for correcting the skew of the recording sheet is calculated on each line based on detection signals from photo sensors, which are disposed between the first and second conveyer roller pairs, and a width of the recording sheet. The recording sheets of the respective lines are conveyed by the largest necessary transport amount among the calculated ones.

    • Magazines containing a photographic paper roll are set to first and second magazine stands respectively. Each of the magazine stands is provided with a unit for positioning the magazine. After sliding the magazine in a width direction of the photographic paper, the magazine stand is positioned so as to make a multi-row pitch optimum in accordance with a width of the photographic paper. The magazine stand is provided with a cutter to cut the photographic paper in a print size. The photographic papers advanced from the first and second magazines are sent to passages and are gathered in multi rows at a passage concourse. Devices for arranging and rearranging the photographic paper are unnecessary so that a structure is simplified.

A load driving circuit includes: an output MOS transistor 32 connecting a power supply 30 and a load 31; a charge pump circuit 40 boosting a voltage of the power supply 30 and supplying a boosted voltage to a gate of the output MOS transistor 32; a detection circuit 112 detecting a voltage difference between the voltage of the power supply 30 and a gate voltage of the output MOS transistor 32; and a variable current source 113 controlling a power supply current (flow-through current) flowing through the charge pump circuit 40 based on the voltage difference.
