摘要： This tremolo device includes a flat hand plate and a short mounting post welded perpendicularly to bottom of the hand plate. The hand plate is configured and bent to form a curved eminence and depression along one side, which provides additional structural integrity and rigidity to the tremolo device. The mounting post is adapted to rotatably connect to the bridge assembly of a stringed instrument. The mounting post elevates the hand plate over the bridge assembly and instrument strings. The musician can rest the palm of the picking hand on the top of the hand plate, which positions the fingers conveniently over the instrument's strings. The musician can push or pull on the hand plate to apply force to the bridge and change the tension of instrument's strings.

摘要： Cases for the protection of stringed musical instruments having a bottom, a sidewall of a predetermined height extending from the bottom and a cover which is hingedly connected to the sidewall and which can be closed and secured with an appropriate fastener are described herein. The cases include a semi-rigid neck-brace having a height approximately the same as the inner height of the sidewall and being affixed to the bottom. The cases further include at least one retaining band that may be used to releasably secure the instrument neck to the neck-brace. Instrument damage may be prevented in the event of a sideways or backward fall, in at least part, because the neck-brace suspends the headstock between the bottom, sidewall and cover of the case and thereby prevents it from making contact.

摘要： A vibrato device is disclosed for an instrument that has a plurality of strings. The vibrato device includes a base plate with a pivot means formed proximately to a forward side thereof. A plurality of string attachment means are each fixed to the base plate and independently pivotable, are each fixed to one string of the instrument, and include a string biasing means that keeps the string in tension, such that each string may be independently tuned without affecting the tuning of each other string. A vibrato handle is fixed to the base plate and, when moved, causes the base plate to pivot around the pivot means. As such, all strings on the instrument may be quickly and independently tuned, while still providing for an effective two-directional vibrato effect.

An alternate embodiment includes an additional mounting ring clip through which the strap is inserted. The mounting ring clip is removably attachable to the loop portion of the waist belt.

The soundboard is made of a three ply torsion box design utilizing a honeycomb stiffening layer as the central core. Linear adjustable tuning braces are incorporated in the hollow body. The side and back of the instrument are also of a three ply construction having a polymer ir inorganic foam as the central layer. (Preferably this will be a closed cell foam.) The back also has a domed configuration with a 12 to 15 foot radius. All structural braces are eliminated from the interior of the instrument's body.
