    • A rocker arm includes a roller, a support shaft coaxially mounted in the roller, walls arranged along a rotation axis and having the roller therebetween and having through holes, respectively, through which end portions of the support shaft are inserted, and each of the walls having an inner surface opposite the roller, and holding members mounted in the respective walls. The holding member includes a tubular portion mounted in each through hole and disposed between an inner peripheral surface of the through hole and an outer surface of an end portion of the support shaft, a first stopper portion included at a first end of the tubular portion to be in contact with the inner surface of one of the walls, and a second stopper portion included at a second end of the tubular portion to be in contact with an end surface of one of the end portions.

    • A turbocharger includes a compressor housing, a bearing housing and a back plate. A discharge scroll chamber has such a shape that a cross-sectional area thereof gradually increases toward a discharge port in a circumferential direction. The compressor housing includes a scroll piece assembled to a shroud piece. The scroll piece includes a suction port-forming portion, a suction-side concave surface and a scroll outer periphery. The shroud piece includes a shroud fit-in portion, an inner peripheral concave surface, a shroud surface and a diffuser surface. The back plate includes a facing surface, an outer peripheral annular fit-in portion and an outer peripheral concave surface. The outer peripheral concave surface has such a shape that a cross sectional shape thereof formed by a plane including a rotation axis of an impeller gradually changes in the circumferential direction.

    • A turbocharger includes a compressor housing including a scroll chamber, and a seal plate assembled to the compressor housing. The compressor housing and the seal plate define an intake passage. The seal plate includes a plate-side connecting portion in contact with the compressor housing. The radius of curvature of a wall surface of the scroll chamber of the compressor housing, in a section including a compressor rotational axis, is increased in a direction toward an outlet located on the downstream side of the scroll chamber in an intake air flow direction. The plate-side connecting portion protrudes in a direction along the compressor rotational axis. The radius of curvature of an inner surface of the seal plate continuous with the scroll chamber of the intake passage, in the section including the compressor rotational axis, is increased in the direction toward the outlet of the scroll chamber.

    • A lubrication structure for a rocker arm includes a lash adjuster mounted in an accommodating portion located in an end of the rocker arm and a pushrod abutting against a lower end of the lash adjuster. The rocker arm is formed with an arm-inside oil supply passage for supplying lubrication oil to the lash adjuster. The lubrication oil guided into the accommodating portion is further guided through a through guide hole of the accommodating portion to an outer peripheral surface of the accommodating portion. The lubrication oil is further guided from an outer oil supply passage formed downwardly in the outer surface of the accommodating portion to the abutment between the lash adjuster and the pushrod.
