    • The proposed hydro-mechanical slot-type perforator enables simultaneously performing at least two slots in a production column. The perforator includes a casing, upper and lower pistons movable within the casing, a cutting unit driven by the pistons and carrying extendable cutting tools, and, optionally, a retractable mechanism fixing the perforator for transportation. The extension is provided by rotatable shackles, or balance beams, or a combination thereof. The lower piston is moved by pressurized fluid supplied through hydraulic channels or a hydraulic system, made in the casing. The shackles rotate around axles being spaced apart, or coincided. The cutting tools can be mounted on the shackles' movable parts, and, when mutually interacted, oppositely extend the cutting tools during countermovement of the pistons. The cutting tools can be mounted in the balance beam's shoulders, or can represent sharp edges thereof. The shackles and balance beams can have wedge-shaped portions, grooves, and connecting rods.

    • The proposed hydro-mechanical slot perforator for well drilling is a device designed for opening productive formations in at least two projections forming high quality slots. The perforator includes a casing, housing a piston-pusher, and a cutting assembly, located below the piston-pusher, including extendable cutting tools and a mechanism for extending thereof, formed as a double-arm (lower and upper) lever (or a balance beam), whose arms hold the cutting tools. A deflecting wedge is mounted on a mobile shaft under the lever. The shaft rotates when the lower arm interacts with the wedge, while the piston-pusher moves down. The piston-pusher is designed as a wedge-piston acting on the upper arm, extending the top cutting tools out, resulting in the wedge-piston and the deflecting wedge creating oppositely directed forces acting simultaneously upon the upper and lower arms. Another embodiment is proposed where an augmented cutting assembly includes more than two cutting tools.

    • A cutting unit for a slot-type perforator is mounted in a casing, driven by a pusher, containing cutting tools with an extension mechanism for extending thereof, including a holder fixed to the pusher and another holder fixed to the casing. The holders are capable of rotating, causing an extension and retraction of the cutting tools from and to the casing. The extension mechanism includes a balance beam, having shoulders for placing the cutting tools and being assembled in the casing between the holders. The beam rotates around an axle during interaction with the holders. The axle is adapted to move along the longitudinal axis of the casing, e.g. in a groove arranged therein. The cutting unit may include at least two balance beams sequentially mounted between the holders. The cutting unit can be equipped with a retractable mechanism bringing parts thereof into a transportation position and fixing them therein.

    • Proposed devices provide for a jetting process of formation critical areas after opening up a column, increasing a perforator's punch power and reliability, significantly preventing accidents. A hydro-mechanical piercing-type perforator includes a casing containing a hydraulic cylinder with a pusher, an operating tool radially movable and capable of interaction with the pusher. The tool is designed as a puncher, placed on a piston (plunger), mounted in a camera. The tool includes at least one through hydraulic channel and a jet. The camera is hydraulically connected with the cylinder. A proposed method for operating the perforator includes supplying a working fluid to the perforator through the column, creating pressure of the working fluid for an extension mechanism actuating the tool, extending the tool by applying the pressure through a piston rod system, to the piston with the puncher, and applying pressure to the piston through the hydraulic cylinder to the chamber.
