摘要： A process for designing durable and esthetically pleasing luggage. The luggage features a top and bottom created from a thermoplastic elastomer. The thermoplastic elastomer provides a durable surface while allowing luggage design in different shapes. A radio frequency process is used to couple different sections of the luggage. This process removes the need for unsightly stitches while simplifying construction. In addition, the lower and upper sections of the luggage are coupled by a zipper mechanism that is not visible from the exterior of the luggage. This protected zipper adds to the durability and esthetic form of the luggage.

The shank is preferably made from a soft metal material, such as a non-heat-treated aluminum alloy, so it is soft enough to grip and elastically conform to moist, wet or otherwise slippery rock and shale. The contact surface of the shank may include grooves, ribs, spaced apart ridges, or other small surface variations to improve the traction of the device in transition environments.

摘要： A composite seam system including a narrow weld bead joining two panels of fabric and a seam tape applied thereon. The applied seam tape comprises a top layer, a reinforcing layer and an adhesive layer melted through the reinforcing layer and connecting the top layer to the fabric panels over the weld bead. The narrow weld bead and the small seam allowance of the fabric panels it joins allows the seam tape to be secured over the weld bead to the fabric panels while lying in a flat plane. The use of a narrow reinforcing layer of woven polyester, nylon or non-woven ultra-fine fibrous material in the seam tape allows the seam tape to be flexible enough to move with the fabric it joins, reducing the incidence of tape edge abrasion.

摘要： A trouser garment is disclosed. The trouser garment may be a fishing wader. The garment includes a quick-release dropseat to enhance the ease of personal relief, such as a WC break, without completely removing the garment. The garment may include a trouser portion, a bib portion, and a suspension system. A posterior support strap is threaded through a guide, such as a loop, to aid in the mating two ends of a quick-release dropseat buckle. The posterior support strap is coupled to left and right shoulder straps to form the suspension system. The guide and one end of the dropseat buckle are positioned on a posterior surface of the garment. The garment may include cam buckles to enable the adjustment of the left and right shoulder straps and the height of the bib portion. The garment may be worn as a full bib or as a pant.
