摘要： A method for submitting a claim form for a dispensed medication to a patient by a point-of-care physician including determining the dispensed medication and payor for the patient by the point-of-care physician; acquiring a national provider identifier number and a non-pharmacy dispensing number for the point-of-care physician; displaying to a user a selection of data fields to the claim form; inputting into the data fields data relating to the claim including the payor and at least one of the national provider identifier number and the non-pharmacy dispensing number; transmitting to a logic switch the claim form including the payor and the at least one of the national provider identifier number and the non-pharmacy dispensing number identifying the point-of-care physician for determining the processor for the claim form; determining the pathway for the claim form based on the payor; processing the claim form by the payor; and transmitting an adjudication.

The invention describes compositions for a medical foods that are designed to improve cognitive function, induced sleep, a improve Parasympathetic function, improve autonomic balance, increase nitric oxide production, reduce blood pressure, increase blood flow, and treat virus infections. The compositions include amino acids such as choline, herbs such ginkgo biloba, and other foods such as coca. The invention also describes the use of physiologic tests such as 24 hour ECG monitoring to create the appropriate combinations and assess the useful proportions.

摘要： The methods and compositions for potentiating pharmaceuticals with amino acid based medical foods provides improved cognitive function; induced and maintained sleep; reduced pain, inflammation, blood pressure, anxiety, asthma, duration of viral infection, insulin resistance, and appetite; and treated depression. The amino acid based medical foods, co-packed with at least one selected pharmaceutical, potentiate the pharmaceutical by enhancing the production of neurotransmitters through the oral administration of neurotransmitter precursors, along with natural plant and animal substances that stimulate uptake of the neurotransmitter precursors, cause release of neurotransmitters, cause disinhibition of the neuronal brake, and activate adenylate cyclase in order to avoid tachyphylaxis and prevent pharmacologic tolerance.
