    • A method of reducing interference between different cells in a densely populated cell network at an ABS allocation controller comprising sending an interference estimation request to at least one of a plurality of cells communicatively coupled with the ABS controller to report estimated interference from its neighboring one or more cells, receiving an interference estimation response from the one or more cells of the plurality of cells, receiving traffic load information from each cell communicatively coupled with the ABS controller, analyzing all the received interference estimates and traffic load information to determine almost blank subframe allocation at one or more interfering cells of the plurality of cells, and sending an ABS allocation command to one or more interfering cells of the plurality of cells.
