摘要： A controller coupled to a motion actuator responsively varies a speed of the motion actuator and an operating speed of a working surface within the range of an initial speed and a max speed and responds to a derived force that represents an amount of force an operator applies between a workpiece and the working surface. The controller, under both acceleration and deceleration, allows the operator with an applied force to manageably change simultaneously both a rate of work on the workpiece and the operating speed of the working surface according to a sensitivity profile expressing a relationship between the derived amount of force and the operating speed of the working surface. A tool for operating on the workpiece includes the motion actuator coupled to the working surface to engage the workpiece.

摘要： In one example, a central processing unit (CPU) with dynamic thread mapping includes a set of multiple cores each with a set of multiple threads. A set of registers for each of the multiple threads monitors for in-flight memory requests the number of loads from and stores to at least a first memory interface and a second memory interface by each respective thread. The second memory interface has a greater latency than the first memory interface. The CPU further has logic to map and migrate each thread to respective CPU cores where the number of cores accessing only one of the at least first and second memory interfaces is maximized.

摘要： In one example, a volatile selector is switched from a low conduction state to a first high conduction state with a first voltage level and then the first voltage level is removed to activate a relaxation time for the volatile selector. The relaxation time is defined as the time the first volatile selector transitions from the high conduction state back to the low conduction state. The volatile selector is switched with a second voltage level of opposite polarity to the first voltage level to significantly reduce the relaxation time of the volatile selector.

A service operating system is stored on the data storage device that, when executed by the processor, boots a virtual machine into maintenance mode. A response file creation module is stored on the storage device that, when executed by the processor, creates a response file. A customization agent is embedded within the service operating system that when executed by the processor on its startup, automatically performs customizations based on the response file including at least one of including adding or removing files within the data storage device and injecting main operating system or virtual machine agent startup scripts to complete customization once the virtual machine is rebooted into the main operating system.

摘要： A method of shape detection detects a figure with a contouring loop method that extracts at least one iso-contour polygon from a set of pixels in an image using a triangular lattice superimposed over the set of pixels of the image. Then starting from an original triangle, the iso-contour polygon is extracted by selecting an intensity chroma value within the set of pixels between three corners of a triangle to find a directed line segment that represent the crossing of the intensity value within the triangle, and an exit point of the directed line segment and a nearest triangle which contains the next directed line segment of the at least one iso-contour polygon are determined to create a first matrix of points on the at least one iso-contour polygon, until arriving at the original triangle.
