    • A method, apparatus and computer program product are provided to provide network access credentials and network access to a remote device via a proxy device. In some example embodiments, a method is provided that comprises receiving a request for network access credentials from a remote device. In some example embodiments, the network access credentials comprise identification information related to at least one SIM. The method of this embodiment may also include determining whether network access credentials are available for the remote device. The method of this embodiment may also include causing the network access credentials to be provided to the remote device in an instance in which network access credentials are available for the remote device. In some example embodiments, the network access credentials enable access to a network by the remote device via one or more proxy devices.

    • Each entry in a prioritized measurement list defines a unique combination of frequency layer and radio access technology (RAT) for cells. Based on signal strength and/or signal quality of the serving cell, a set of entries for measuring is selected from a neighbor list according to the prioritized measurement list and according to a selection rule. The selection rule provides: for the case the at least signal strength or quality of the serving cell is higher than a respective strength/quality threshold, the selected set is a first set; and for the case the at least signal strength or quality of the serving cell is lower than a respective strength/quality threshold, the selected set is a different second set of the prioritized measurement list that excludes all frequency layers of the prioritized measurement list belonging to the RAT having a highest (or alternatively a lowest) priority.

    • An active reception period (active time) of a power saving pattern (DRX) is masked to a measurement period (ABS) of a serving or neighbor cell interference mitigation pattern (eICIC) such that the masked active reception period repeatedly coincides with the measurement period. Then the masked active reception period is utilized for communicating resource allocations (PDCCHs) between a serving cell (eNB) and a user equipment (UE). In various embodiments: the masking is done without shortening a sleep opportunity (DRX opportunity) of the power saving pattern; the masking is implemented by delaying an on-duration start time of the active reception period; the on-duration start time is controlled by a timer which runs only during measurement periods of the interference mitigation pattern, or by applying a second offset generated by the UE in addition to applying a first offset configured by the serving cell; and the masking is by adopting a default power saving pattern.

    • A wireless transmitter transmits a plurality of data blocks defined in a transmission window for receipt by a receiver.
