摘要： The present invention provides network systems and methods for battery management. Battery management can include controlling transmissions to and from wireless devices. Thus, in an embodiment, a system for controlling transmissions in a wireless network is provided. A base station is configured for bidirectional wireless communication with each of a plurality of wireless devices. The base station is configured to receive battery characteristics from at least one of the plurality of wireless devices. The battery characteristics represent at least a battery type for the wireless device. Transmission constraints that correspond to each of a plurality of battery types are stored within a transmission constraints database. The base station is configured to obtain transmission constraints by looking up the battery type in the transmission constraints database. The base station may then be configured to transmit messages between the base station and the wireless device according to the obtained transmission constraints.

A branch discussion and the one or more identified posts of the original discussion are displayed on the display screen of the particular one of the user devices along with a link to the original discussion. A branch discussion data object for the branch discussion is communicated from the server to the plurality of discussion participant user devices.

摘要： The present invention is directed toward a switching power supply and improvements thereof. In accordance with an embodiment, a switching power supply is provided. The switching power supply comprises: a first power supply stage that forms an intermediate regulated voltage; and a second power supply stage configured to accept the intermediate regulated voltage and configured to form a regulated output voltage, wherein the first power supply stage monitors an error signal that is representative of a difference between the intermediate regulated voltage and a desired level for the intermediate regulated voltage to detect a light load condition and wherein the first power supply stage enters a first power-saving mode when the error signal falls below a first threshold, a switching frequency in the first power supply stage being reduced in the first power-saving mode, and wherein the first power supply stage enters a second power-saving mode when the error signal falls below a second threshold, switching in the first power supply stage being performed in bursts in the second power-saving mode.

The inband signal or signals may comprise noise, interference signals, or any other unwanted signals that impact the quality of the underlying communications. A receiver receives a communication signal, the received communication signal including the desired communication signal and one or more inband signals. A signal separator processes the received signal to form an estimate of the desired communication signal and an estimate of the inband signals. A performance improver processes the received signal and the estimate of the one or more inband signals to form an improved estimate of the desired communication signal and an improved estimate of the inband signals.

摘要： The present invention relates to spectral image sampling. An image is projected onto an array of optical transformation devices. Image intensity values transmitted by said array of optical transformation devices are detected at each sensor element of an image sensor. The image sensor comprises a plurality of photosensitive sensor elements configured to detect a magnitude of incident light, wherein said sensor elements are shaped as regular polygons whose aspect ratio is controlled to minimize sensor element count while obtaining a desired image quality. The detected image intensity values are processed to infer the image.
