摘要： A bioassay system is disclosed. The bioassay system may include a plurality of optical detection apparatuses, each of which includes a substrate having a light detector, and a linker site formed over the light detector, the linker site being treated to affix the biomolecule to the linker site. The linker site is proximate to the light detector and is spaced apart from the light detector by a distance of less than or equal to 100 micrometers. The light detector collects light emitted from the biomolecule within a solid angle of greater than or equal to 0.8 SI steridian. The optical detection apparatus may further include an excitation light source formed over the substrate so as to provide a light source for exciting a fluorophore attached to the biomolecule.

摘要： A method of power down control (PDC) for a display device is to be implemented by a processor in a power down controller of the display device. The power down controller includes a main system, a main system power source, and a PDC power source. The method includes the steps of: (A) receiving power from the PDC power source, determining if the main system is to be activated, and proceeding to step (B) if affirmative; (B) turning on the main system power source, and activating the main system; (C) determining if operation in a power down mode is intended, and proceeding to step (D) if affirmative; and (D) turning off the main system power source to operate in the power down mode. Further, a state parameter is stored that allows the main system to be restored to the operating state prior to a power interruption.

摘要： Disclosed is a people counter including a setting interface and a setting method thereof. Since a reference width used to count of a moving object within an image is visibly arranged and displayed on a screen so that a detected width of the moving object can be compared with the reference width, setting and verification for count is very easy. In addition, since the interface can be freely moved for adjustment and comparison of a reference width using a pointing device such as a mouse, thereby providing verification and resetting which are intuitive and practical over conventional manual adjustment schemes, count accuracy can be easily increased in different environments depending on conditions or type of moving objects within an image.
