    • A method and apparatus for form processing is provided, requiring little to no data entry. Upon receiving an electronic notification containing a form, a validation server extracts an electronic contact address from the electronic notification. The validation server then applies a template associated with the sender's electronic contact address to an OCRed document to extract information necessary to generate an electronic form comprising machine parsable data. The sender is then granted access and prompted to validate the electronic form. The sender entity validates the electronic form by making any necessary changes or revisions and by submitting the editable web form. The form's parsable content is then stored directly as data in a database. In some embodiments, the validation server may accept the electronic validation with additional revision information. In these embodiments, the revision information may be applied to future forms received from the sender. Optionally, the revision information may also be used to create a new version of the template specifically associated with the sender's electronic contact address.

    • In an embodiment, a computer-implemented method comprises receiving, from a plurality of different mobile computing devices that are located in different distributed geographic locations, a plurality of different expense report line item records, the expense report line item records generated by instances of expense tracking application programs hosted at the mobile computing devices, each of the expense report line item records comprising at least an account identification value and a geo-location value, the geo-location value indicating a then-current geographical location of a particular mobile computing device; digitally storing the plurality of different expense report line item records in a digital data repository; receiving, from a client computer, a request to report one or more of: all account identification values that are within a specified geographic region; or the last recorded locations of a particular account identification value; generating and submitting a database query to the digital data repository based on the request, and receiving a result set of particular account identification values or particular last recorded location values; generating and causing displaying, at the client computer, a digital data display that shows the particular account identification values or particular last recorded location values.

    • An improved procurement system and method are provided. The improved procurement system comprises: a memory having stored therein an account of a first entity, the account associated with a first computer and comprising contract data associated with a first entity and a contract terms included in a contract between the first entity and a second entity, wherein the second entity is not associated with the account; one or more processors; a non-transitory machine-readable medium having instructions stored thereon, the instructions executable by the one or more processors to perform: generating a Contract Order Document from the contract data associated with the first computer, the Contract Order Document being an electronic document comprising a portion of the contract data and a selectable user interface element that, when selected by a second computer associated with the second entity, generates an instruction to generate a first document; sending, via a network, the Contract Order Document to the second computer; receiving, in response to the Contract Order Document, the instruction from the second computer to generate the first document; obtaining, in response to the instruction and from the account of the first computer, at least a portion of the contract terms included in the contract between the first entity and the second entity; generating the first document using the at least the portion of the contract terms obtained from the account of the first computer; sending, via a network, the first document to the second computer.
