摘要： Embodiments of a multi-link access point (AP) device, station (STA) and method of communication are generally described herein. The multi-link AP device may comprise multiple APs. The multi-link AP device may encode a frame for transmission by one of the APs of the multi-link AP device. The multi-link AP device may encode the frame to include signaling to enable multi-link discovery of the APs of the multi-link AP device. The multi-link AP device may encode the signaling to include: a reduced neighbor report (RNR) element that identifies the APs of the multi-link AP device, and a multiple AP element. The multiple AP element may be configurable to include: common information for the APs of the multi-link AP device, and per-AP sub-elements that include per-AP information related to the APs of the multi-link AP device.

摘要： Embodiments of a station (STA) and method of communication are generally described herein. The STA may be included in a first plurality of STAs affiliated with a first multi-link logical entity (MLLE). A plurality of links may be established between the first MLLE and a second MLLE, wherein the second MLLE may be affiliated with a second plurality of STAs. The STA may receive a first subset of a sequence of MAC protocol data units (MPDUs). A second subset of the sequence of MPDUs may be transmitted by another STA of the first plurality of STAs. The STA may transmit a block acknowledgement (BA) frame that includes: a number of BA bitmaps, configurable to values greater than or equal to one; and BA control information for each of the BA bitmaps.

An AP may be configurable to operate as a master AP of a multi-AP group comprising the master AP and one or more satellite APs. The master AP may select, from the multi-AP group, a set of APs that is to communicate with a STA in accordance with joint processing. The master AP may allocate one or more spatial streams to each of the APs of the set of APs for a joint transmission of a null data packet (NDP) to the STA for channel sounding. The master AP may transmit an NDP announcement (NDPA) that indicates that the APs of the set of APs are to perform the joint transmission of the NDP.

As part of a multi-link AP logical entity, the plurality of APs may share a common medium access control (MAC) data service interface to an upper layer. The AP may exchange signaling with an STA as part of a multi-link setup process between the multi-link TP logical entity and a multi-link non-AP logical entity. The STA may be included in a plurality of STAs affiliated with the multi-link non-AP logical entity. The multi-link setup process may establish a link between each AP of the plurality of APs and a corresponding STA of the plurality of STAs.

摘要： Methods, apparatuses, and computer readable media for high efficiency (HE) beacon and HE formats in a wireless network are disclosed. An apparatus of a high efficiency (HE) access point (AP), where the apparatus comprises processing circuitry configured select a tuple from the basic HE-MCS set of tuples, if a basic HE modulation and control scheme (MCS)(HE-MCS) and a number of spatial streams (NSS) set of tuples is not empty, and otherwise select the tuple from a mandatory HE-MCS and NSS set of tuples. The processing circuitry may be further configured to encode a beacon frame in a HE single user (SU) physical layer (PHY) protocol data unit (PPDU), in accordance with the selected tuple, and configure the HE AP to transmit the HE SU PPDU. Null data packets formats, methods, computer readable media, and apparatuses are disclosed for multiple 20 MHz operations.

摘要： Methods, apparatuses, and computer readable media for location measurement reporting in a wireless network are disclosed. An apparatus of a responder station (RSTA) is disclosed, the apparatus comprising processing circuitry configured to decode a null data packet (NDP) announce (NDPA) frame from an initiator station (ISTA), the NDPA frame comprising an indication of a temporary key and an identification of the RSTA. The processing circuitry further configured to decode a NDP from the ISTA, the NDP comprising long training fields (LTFs), the NDP received on a channel. The processing circuitry further configured to determine whether the NDP from the ISTA is consistent with the NDP being generated using a temporary key shared between the ISTA and RSTA based on a comparison of the channel estimates. The processing circuitry may be further configured to determine for authentication whether the indication of the temporary key was generated based on the temporary key.

An apparatus is disclosed including processing circuitry configured to: decode a trigger frame, the trigger frame to indicate resource units (RUs) for random access and to indicate if a carrier sense (CS) is to be performed. The processing circuitry may be further configured to: when the value of the OBO field reaches a predetermined value, randomly select one of the RUs indicated for random access, and if the CS is to be performed, determine a virtual CS based on one or more network allocation vectors (NAVs) and perform a physical CS on the selected RU, and if the virtual CS and the physical CS both indicate that the selected RU is idle, configure the wireless device to transmit a physical (PHY) layer convergence procedure (PLCP) protocol data units (PPDU) on the selected RU in accordance with OFDMA.

摘要： Systems and techniques for random access to a wireless network are described herein. Components of a wireless station may obtain a back-off value. The components may also decode random access resource units from a frame transmitted to the wireless station from an access point of the wireless network. The components may decrement the back-off for each decoded random access frame. The wireless station may select this frame from a sequence of frames when the back-off reaches zero while decoding the random access resource units of this frame. The wireless station then selects the random access resource unit with a more favorable transmission metric than another random access resource unit of the frame and uses the selected random access resource unit to communicate with the access point.
