    • A system and method provisions dynamic call models within a network having a serving node for providing session control for user endpoint (UE) devices. A user endpoint device (UE) with agent logic, expresses dynamic context of the UE in a message and sends said dynamic context message to a serving node. The dynamic context includes a subset of devices that could be used as UEs or associated devices, network connections that terminate or emanate from said devices that could be used as UEs or associated devices, and capabilities of said devices that could be used as UEs or associated devices. The serving node logic receives said context message from the UE and constructs a dynamic call model in response. The dynamic call model having filter codes to associate service codes with application servers (ASs) in communication with the network, and each AS having service logic to provide a service.

    • Under one aspect, a system for transmitting an IP-based message from an initiator to a receiver lacking an IP address via a packet-switched (PS) network capable of communicating IP-based messages and a circuit-switched (CS) network capable of communicating non-IP-based messages, includes: a serving node in communication with the PS network and the CS network, the serving node including logic to: receive the IP-based message from the initiator over the PS network; generate a trigger message responsive to the IP-based message, the trigger message including a non-IP-based message including instructions for the receiver to initiate a connection to the PS network; and transmit the trigger message to the receiver via the CS network, and the receiver including logic to initiate a connection to the PS network and to receive the IP-based message responsive to the trigger message. The network includes application servers (ASs) and a switch that receives and then forwards UE service requests. The system includes storage media storing hierarchically organized data, which defines potential call models that map potential UE service requests onto ASs. At least two potential call models map a specified potential UE service request onto different ASs that can provide different service experiences. The system includes control logic for providing session control, which receives UE service requests from the switch, receives the hierarchically organized data from the storage media, generates a call model for each UE based on potential call models defined by the hierarchically organized data and on the requested service, and invokes a specified AS based on the generated call model.
