摘要： A package having a lid seated on a base where the edge of the seated lid is generally inaccessible, and where the edge is made accessible by a movement of a tamper-evident tab. The base and lid are configured so that opening of the tamper-evident tab locks the tab in the opened position. The inner edge of the tamper-evident tab is joined to the base by a hinge. The tamper-evident tab includes a protrusion that extends inwardly beyond the hinge. The lid includes a retention feature overlying the tamper-evident tab. The protrusion interacts with the retention feature to provide an audible indication when the tamper-evident tab is opened and to retain the tamper-evident tab in the opened position. The protrusion may be configured to lift the lid when the tamper-evident tab is in the opened position.

摘要： A trifold thermoformed package with a bottom portion, a top portion and an internal portion integrally formed from a single sheet of thermoformable material. The top and bottom portions are arranged in a clamshell configuration and can be selectively closed about a first living hinge to cooperatively define an internal space for receiving items to be packaged. The internal portion is configured to fold about second living hinge into the package between the top portion and the bottom portion to form a shelf upon which items can be placed, thereby allowing two layers of items to be contained in the same package without direct stacking. The top portion may be joined to one edge of the bottom portion along a first living hinge and the internal portion may be joined to a second edge of the bottom portion along a second living hinge disposed opposite the first living hinge.

摘要： A packaging assembly having a pair of generally conventional thermoformed containers joined in face-to-face relation by a removable thermoformed snap ring. The thermoformed containers each include a container body with an open mouth, and a peripheral lip extending outwardly about the open mouth. The containers are positioned in opposed relationship with their peripheral lips extending generally adjacent to one another. The snap ring is a generally peripheral body having an internal opening capable of being fitted over the body of at least one of the two containers and a containment flange configured to entrap the adjacent lips of the two containers. In use, the snap ring can be selectively fitted simultaneously over a pair of adjacent container lips to join the containers, for example, to allow two separately packaged products to be sold in combination, and can be easily removed to allow the containers to be separated by the consumer.

The blister includes a cavity portion, a flange, a hinge and a locking protrusion. The backing may include a panel having a blister slot and an interlocking opening. The blister slot may include a flange insertion portion and a hinge seat. The flange may be fitted through the blister slot and secured to the panel to hold the blister in place. The blister may be movable about the hinge to allow the package to be opened and closed. The locking protrusion may be configured to selectively snap-lock with the interlocking opening in the backing to hold the blister in the closed position.
