摘要： An outer handle device for a vehicle door includes: a base mounted on an outer panel from an inside of the outer panel; an operating handle disposed on an outside of the outer panel and having a support shaft that extends along a swing axis on a support arm part entering the inside of the outer panel from the outside thereof; and a support member that is fitted to the base, engages with the support shaft from a rear, makes a front end of the support arm part abut against an abutment receiving part while the operating handle is swinging, and restrains displacement of the support shaft toward the outer panel. The base is provided with a restricting part that makes contact with the support arm part when the operating handle swings, thus restricting displacement of the operating handle in moving away inwardly from the outer panel.

摘要： Provided is a vehicular door outer handle device including a handle body having a housing recess, a handle cover covering the handle body from the outside, a base member fixed to a vehicle door, and a support arm connected to one end in a longitudinal direction of the handle body and rotatably supported by the base member via a support shaft. A slit through which a harness connected to an electronic component housed in the housing recess is inserted is formed in the one end of the handle body and in the support arm. Although there is provided the slit that facilitates assembly work of the harness, reduction in strength is prevented while avoiding an increase in the number of parts. A handle cover 14 is integrally provided with a first reinforcing portion 55 that is fitted into a slit 51 so as to contact, or to approach and face, both side surfaces of the slit 51.

This makes it difficult for vibration of the electric motor to be transmitted to the actuator case, thus enabling reduction in noise when operating the electric motor.

摘要： In an outer handle device for a vehicle door, a cylinder lock having a key hole is mounted on an handle base in an attitude in which the cylinder lock is inclined downward or upward in going outward in a vehicle width direction while the key hole is made to face an outside when an operating handle is in an operated position but the key hole is covered by an handle main body when the operating handle is in a non-operated position. A provisional holding device is provided between the handle base and the cylinder lock, provisionally holds a mounted position and a mounted attitude of the cylinder lock with respect to the handle base, and is formed to guide the cylinder lock inserted into an insertion hole provided in the handle base so that the cylinder lock attains the mounted attitude at the mounted position.
