摘要： A method is described for secure video processing. The method comprises storing an encrypted video stream (1) in a public stream buffer (2) in public memory accessible by a central processing unit (4) and allocating a private stream buffer (6) at a buffer location in private memory which is accessible by a decryption unit (10), wherein the private memory is not accessible for the central processing unit (4). The method then comprises decrypting the encrypted video stream (1) in the public stream buffer (2) to the private stream buffer (6) at the allocated buffer location (8) in private memory as an associated decrypted video stream (5); appending the allocated buffer location (8) to the public stream buffer (2); and configuring a video decoder unit (12) to read the decrypted video stream (5) from the private stream buffer (6) at the buffer location (8) for further processing.

The broadcast server is arranged to prepare a list of unique entries and associated identifications of the text items received, and to provide a compressed list to the plurality of set top boxes. The broadcast server repeats the following steps for each text item in the list: determining whether a next text item has a number of shared consecutive characters at the start in common with a compressed text item from the compressed list, identifying said compressed text item as a source of shared consecutive characters and determining the number of shared consecutive characters; storing for the next text item an identification, a reference to the source of shared consecutive characters, the number of shared consecutive characters, and the remaining non-shared text in the compressed list.

摘要： A method and system for determining deployment parameters of a set of customer premises equipment (CPE) in a housing environment. A housing database (2) and a simulation database (3) connected to a processor (4) are present, the housing database (2) storing housing information, and the simulation database (3) storing simulation data with Wi-Fi performance parameters for a subset of housing types. The processor (4) clusters the stored housing information based on the Wi-Fi performance parameters, associates each of the clustered housing parameter sets with one of the subset of housing types, and for a specific one of the housing types determines deployment parameters based on data obtained from the simulation database (3). The matching of a specific housing environment with one of the subset of housing types allows to quickly and efficiently optimize deployment parameters, such as number, type and placement of CPE.
