摘要： A lockbox includes a housing, a key storage area and a lockbox circuit. The key storage area is shaped to receive a stored key and is attached to or positioned within the housing. The key storage area is secured with a lock mechanism to prevent unauthorized access to the stored key. The lockbox circuit comprises a transceiver operable by a magnetically induced current generated by a closely positioned radio access device that can send and receive signals. The circuit is configured to unlock the key storage area upon determining that an access request is authorized to providing access to the stored key. Methods of operation are also disclosed.

摘要： A mass notification system including one or more alarms for notification of two or more emergency classes. Each alarm can include a lens, a strobe for illuminating the lens with a first light color during activation of the strobe, and a light source such as a light emitting diode for illuminating the lens with a second light color different from the first light color during activation of the light source. During activation of the lens with the light source, the lens appears to be the color emitted by the light source. The alarm can be configured to notify occupants of a first emergency class by activating only the strobe and to notify occupants of a second emergency class by activating both the strobe and the light source. An alarm configured to provide notification of two or more emergency classes can thus use a single lens and a single strobe.

A method for remotely updating the user's expired access privileges includes establishing communication between the user and the system administration from a location remote from the system administration, receiving a remote privilege code from the system administration, communicating the remote privilege code to the lock, and, if authorized, the lock validating the privilege code to renew the user's access privileges. The validated privilege code can also be made effective to access other different locks within the system.

摘要： Reducing power consumption and interference in wireless communication is provided. For example, in one embodiment, a method is provided that listens for radio frequency (“RF”) activity on a receiver utilizing a first receiver antenna. When no RF activity is detected the receiver is switched “on” and a command is transmitted. If a reply to the transmission is not received the receiver is turned “off.” After an expiration of time, the receiver is again switched “on” and another command is transmitted on a second antenna coupled to the receiver. Thereafter, if a reply is not received the receiver is again turned “off.” Embodiments of the invention also include other methods, computer-readable mediums, apparatuses, and systems that contain features similar to the features in the above described method.

The amount of data in a media stream itself may be selectively reduced for and, the amount of data in the media stream may be selected for delivery and/or storage so that it is reduced in a manageable and consistent fashion. Data within a media stream of a given temporal duration may be selected for delivery and/or storage in such a way that leads to a proportional increase in the maximum speed at which data from the given temporal duration of the media stream may be transmitted and reviewed while simultaneously providing the benefit of reducing overall storage capacity requirements.

Depending on the motion state variable and the data association variable, the multiple targets are tracked.

A method for registering the security panel with the server includes contacting the server utilizing a network address stored in the memory. An encryption key is received for encryption of additional communication between the security panel and the server.
