摘要： Methods for determining change in physical condition or illness of a mammal by obtaining a thermal image of the subject and determining the body temperature of the mammal based on the thermal image are described. An example method is implemented on a first electronic device having a first display and a thermal imaging hardware. The method includes obtaining the thermal image of a mammal using the first electronic device; comparing said thermal image to a reference thermal image of the subject at healthy state with no symptoms or characteristics of the physical condition or illness such as by way of example, flu, fever, hypothermia, ovulation, heat stress, cardiac condition; comparing the intensity of said thermal image to the reference thermal image; and in response to such comparison, determining whether the subject shows symptoms or hallmarks of a certain illness or condition marked by a change in body temperature and associated intensity of the thermal image; and displaying information regarding said determination on the first display of the first electronic device. The method includes first obtaining a reference thermal image of a mammal in a “normal” and/or “healthy” condition, then later obtaining additional image(s) for comparison to the reference image; and in response to such comparison, determining whether the subject shows symptoms of a certain illness or condition marked by a change in body temperature and associated intensity of the thermal image.

摘要： A device for detecting ovulation using saliva according to the present invention comprises: a device body having a lens disposed in the inner space thereof and a pinhole formed through a side opposite to the lens; a scattering unit coupled to one side of the device body, which has the pinhole formed therein, and configured to scatter light to be supplied to the pinhole; and a sample plate which is separably mounted in the device body so as to be located between the lens and the pinhole and on which saliva is placed, wherein the pinhole is configured to convert light, which passed through the scattering unit, into point light so as to uniformly supply the light to the sample plate, so that saliva crystals formed by drying of the saliva will form a striking contrast with the surrounding portions when the light is scattered by the saliva crystals.

摘要： A system and method to identify abnormal menstrual cycles and alert the user comprising an electronic device running a software application. The software application includes a method that processes and analyzes data and determines when the user exhibits signs and symptoms that require medical attention. The method receives, compiles, and analyzes information regarding at least one of the user's general symptoms, number of days bleeding, mood changes, heavy menstrual flow, inter-menstrual bleeding, and bleeding after sex. The method determines and alerts the user when the information, signs and/or symptoms the user is experiencing indicate that the user's menstrual cycle may be critically abnormal or that the user may have a heavy abnormal period and alerts the user regarding the severity, prompting the user to call her doctor as soon as possible. The method further determines and alerts the user when the user should seek medical attention and contact her doctor at the phone number the user provided upon downloading the software application. If the user did not specify her doctor's phone number or address, the system will use GPS technology to provide a list of all gynecologists and primary care physicians in close proximity to the user's location. The method will also provide the user with a call button to directly call the doctor from within the software application. Additionally, if the user consents, the system and method can capture and compile patient information and statistics and build a database to be used for research purposes.
