摘要： A health monitoring system for caged birds is described. An enclosure containing sensors and associated circuitry mounts to the outside of a bird cage with a perch protruding into the cage.The sensors included in the present embodiment are a strain gauge load cell for bird weight measuring, a temperature sensor, and an ambient light sensor. The load cell is used with a perch such that the bird's weight can be measured whenever they alight upon the perch. Also included is a piezoelectric sensor to measure vibration data from the cage itself, which is used as a proxy for the bird's activity level. Associated circuitry and software processes and transmits this data to an internet-hosted server. The user can access this information to track a caged bird's weight, activity level, and environmental conditions over time.

摘要： A movable partition is usable with an animal kennel to change the size of the reposable region of the kennel within which an animal can be disposed during the animal's period of growth. The reposable region is situated between the kennel door and the movable partition. The movable partition is mountable to ventilation openings formed in the animal kennel and is movable among a variety of distances from the kennel door to change the size of the reposable region within the kennel in order to properly train the animal and to avoid the animal relieving itself within the kennel. The partition includes a barrier element and a number of mounting elements that are mountable to the ventilation openings of the kennel. The movable partition further includes a number of clip apparatuses that are cooperable with the mounting elements to retain the mounting elements mounted to the ventilation openings.

The dual axes swivel connector allows panels of the enclosure to be reliably pivoted with respect to each other. The dual axes swivel connector may comprise first and second parts. The first part may be fabricated from a flexible material compared to the second part, whereas the second part may be fabricated from a more rigid material compared to the first part. The flexibility of the first part allows the first part to have a tighter fit with the wire rods. The second part has a looser fit with the wire rods but the rigidity of the second part compensates for the looser fit. When the first and second parts are interlocked, they create a tight fit which can reliably provide a hinge between the panels.
