摘要： An adjustable base is provided that includes a fixed frame and an articulating frame connected to the fixed frame. The articulating frame includes an upper body frame pivotally connected to the upper section of the fixed frame, a seat frame pivotally connected to the upper body frame and movable along a central section of the fixed frame, and a leg frame pivotally connected to the fixed frame. An actuator is further included and has a first end connected to the seat frame adjacent to the leg frame and a second end that is connected to a linkage attached to the articulating frame. Upon activation of the actuator, the upper body frame is articulated upward and the seat frame moves linearly along the central section of the fixed frame toward the upper section of the fixed frame. Systems and methods for controlling an adjustable base assembly are further provided.

A seat back is supported by the frame in the chair configuration of the furniture and serves as a headboard or additional mattress in the bed configuration.

摘要： A retractable furniture carriage is capable of supporting a piece of furniture off of a floor, and allowing the furniture to be rolled across the floor. The retractable furniture carriage includes wheels mounted by a frame to the furniture. The frame can be pivoted for moving the wheels between a deployed position in which they engage and support the furniture to a stowed position in which the wheels are off the floor. Actuation of the frame can be carried out from the side of the furniture through frame structure largely located underneath the furniture.

摘要： A modular sofa assembly may include a plurality of seating modules each having a seat section, a backrest section, or side edge surfaces. The backrest section may include first and second portions coupled for movement between a folded configuration and an extended configuration. An armrest module may have an armrest side edge surface configured for mating engagement with a side edge surface of a seating module. The modular sofa may be assembled by aligning connectors of the seating modules and armrest module, with each respective connectors slidingly engaged along an axis. After bringing the modules together, these connections may be secured with the side edge surfaces in abutting engagement. The modular sofa further may include a power cradle mounted at the sofa's bottom surface. The power cradle may include a cubic power outlet near the front of the sofa, and power cable extending beyond the back of the sofa.

摘要： A modular sofa assembly described herein includes a plurality of seating modules each having a seat section, a backrest section, and side edge surfaces. The backrest section includes first and second portions coupled for movement between a folded configuration and an extended configuration.
