摘要： A dismantlable electric bed includes a fixation frame, a moveable frame, and an actuator. The moveable frame includes two longitudinal rods and a transverse rod having two ends. The two longitudinal rods are pivotally connected with the fixation frame, respectively. Each longitudinal rod has at least one insertion hole. Each end of the transverse rod is provided with at least one post detachably inserted into the at least one insertion hole of one longitudinal rod. The actuator has two ends pivotally connected with the fixation frame and the transverse rod, respectively. As such, the electric bed is dismantlable to reduce the packing volume thereof and convenient to be assembled by the user herself/himself.

The frame includes a plurality of rails which, when assembled together, at least partially define the frame. The plurality of rails are comprised of a thermoplastic foam that is lighter than wood or other similarly- or heavier-weighted materials commonly utilized in the construction of bed foundations, thereby facilitating easier shipping, lifting, carrying, and assembly of the bed foundation. The one or more panels can also be comprised of thermoplastic foam. The frame can further include a plurality of brackets to interconnect select rails of the frame. A kit for a bed foundation and a method of assembling a bed foundation are also provided.

摘要： An assemblable mattress support can be shipped with all of its components compactly packed into the headboard. The mattress support includes a foldable longitudinal bar, a lateral bar, side panels, wooden slats, block legs and a footboard, all of which fit inside a compartment in the headboard. In an assembled state of the mattress support, a first connector at one end of the longitudinal bar attaches to a third connector on the outside of the headboard. A second connector at the other end of the longitudinal bar attaches to a fourth connector on the footboard. The middle of the lateral bar connects to the middle of the longitudinal bar. The block legs are attached to the bottom sides of the headboard and footboard. The slats are attached to one another by fabric ribbons and are placed in parallel over the longitudinal bar and support ledges on the side panels.

摘要： Method and apparatus for attaching legs to furniture using a mounting plate having a pair of studs on one side and a furniture leg on the other side. Three embodiments are shown wherein the mounting plate is a single piece in one embodiment, a double piece in a second embodiment, and a double piece without a leg in a third embodiment. The mounting plate mounts to the underside of the piece of furniture using screws extended through a plurality of mounting holes so that the studs are inserted into and fixed to the piece of furniture. The mounting plate has an S-shaped aperture in it for receiving a mating S-shaped portion which is attached to the leg using an insert portion so that the S-shape portion then passes through the plate to the upper side of the plate and is turned approximately 45 to 90 degrees so that the inner edges of the ends of the S-shaped portion frictionally engages the studs wherein the leg becomes attached to the piece of furniture. The two piece embodiment works similarly to the one piece embodiment except that the mounting plate is divided into two parts for placement on each side of the mating adjacent parts of the piece of furniture so that when the S-shaped portion is turned and frictionally engages the studs, it not only joins the leg to the underside of the piece of furniture but also joins the two adjacent pieces of furniture together.
