摘要： A catheter insertion aid may comprise: an insertion tip located at a proximal end of the insertion aid; a flexible bag; a self-sealing mating mechanism on the proximal end of the insertion aid; and a physical interface that helps a user hold and support the insertion aid against the body when inserting the catheter tube into the male or female urethral tract. The catheter insertion aid may mate with a urinary intermittent catheter with a catheter tube to be inserted into a male or female urethral tract to facilitate drainage of urine from a bladder into a receptacle. The flexible bag may surround the catheter tube with a first collar connection mechanism connecting to the insertion aid and a second collar connection mechanism connecting to a catheter funnel. The self-sealing mating mechanism may mate with the catheter funnel to create a hermetic seal that is substantially air- and water-tight. The catheter insertion aid may further comprise a lubrication reservoir that holds a lubricant to coat a thin layer of the lubricant on the catheter tube facilitating insertion of the catheter tube into the male or female urethral tract.

The catheter tube may be configured to be inserted into a male or female urethral tract to facilitate drainage of urine from a bladder into a receptacle. The funnel may be curved to facilitate a flow of urine through the catheter tube and slow the flow of the urine exiting the funnel while minimizing splashing of the urine and reducing material strain on the catheter tube when stored with an insertion aid.

摘要： An apparatus for heat treatment of a product, in particular food product, and especially food product in a container such as a can, bottle or plastic pouch is disclosed. The apparatus comprises an unloading and loading section, a first treatment section having an inner wall defining a processing volume within which product is heated, a transfer section and a second treatment section having an inner wail defining a processing volume within which product is cooled, multiple carriers for retaining product during treatment designed to provide multi-stage pressure reductions that collectively reduce the maximum over-pressure within the apparatus to ambient pressure and thereby eliminate the need for sealable pressure doors or gate valves. The loading section incorporates means of linear movement of said product carriers in a continuous fashion. The carriers includes elements to create cavities between or within successive carriers and a plurality of throughapertures to force heat treatment fluid into direct contact with product as it flows from over ambient to ambient pressure. A heat exchanger recovers energy from cooling product and continuously re-applies that energy to heat product.
