    • The present invention relates to an airscrew for a toy helicopter, comprising a rotating shaft directly connectable to a driving mechanism of the helicopter, two airscrew blades, a balance mechanism, said two airscrew blades respectively hinged to the rotating shaft so that a blade angle of the airscrew blade is able to change during the flight. In an embodiment, a middle portion of the balance mechanism is hinged to the rotating shaft, and each of two airscrew blades has an extending member, the balance mechanism is contacted with the extending member during the swing motion, such that the blade angle of the airscrew blade is changed. The present invention has a compact structure and a stable balancing capability, therefore, the disadvantages such as easy breakage of the link is avoided and the package volume is also reduced. The connecting member between the airscrew blades as well as the balance rod and the rotating shaft is thicker and has a bigger intensity, so it is not easy to be broken due to the falling of the helicopter, therefore, it can be used in a flyable toy or a prototype aircraft, and a vertical lift aerocraft.

    • A flying object with tandem rotors, in particular a helicopter, has a main rotor and a tandem rotor each with propeller blades which are driven by a rotor shaft and which is hinge-mounted to this rotor shaft. The angle between the surface of rotation of the main rotor and the rotor shaft may vary. A swinging manner on an oscillatory shaft is essentially transverse to the rotor shaft of the main rotor and is directed transversally to the longitudinal axis of the vanes. The main rotor and the tandem rotor each have an auxiliary rotor connected respectively to the main rotor and tandem rotor by a mechanical link. The swinging motions of the auxiliary rotor controls the angle of incidence (A) of at least one of the propeller blades of the main rotor and tandem rotor. There is an acute angle of displacement when viewing the propeller blades relative to the vanes in a direction perpendicular to their respective rotational planes.

    • A novel flying toy comprising a ringed or banded rotor launched by a pulled string. The rotor has an outer ring or band and an inner circular disk connected by a plurality of curved blades. The rotor rests upon a spindle set in one end of a handle grasped by the user. The rotor is loosely held by pins in the spindle. A string is wound around the spindle and pulled by the user. The spindle and rotor are spun rapidly causing the rotor to lift off the pins and into the air. The outer band contains air near the blades, and coupled with the configuration of the blades, contributes greatly to aerodynamic lift and flight stability.

    • A projectile flier has a flying body, a propeller device mounted on the flying body and an actuator detachably combined to the flying body to rotate the propeller device. The flying body has a tube located at its gravity center to rotatably combine with an axis of the propeller device. The actuator has a handle with a pulling device that efficiently drives the axis of the propeller device to rotate. Until the propeller device rotates at high speed to provide efficient floating force, the flying body disengages from the actuator and flies into sky. By efficiently rotating the propeller device with the pulling device, rotation speed of the propeller device is significantly increased to make the flying body fly over a long period and a far distance.

    • A toy airplane with a specialized launching configuration. The toy airplane has a body that extends between a nose and a tail. A roller assembly is disposed at the nose of the toy airplane. The roller assembly includes a free rotating finger roll that protrudes to the left and to the right of the nose. When a person launches the toy airplane, that person places his/her fingers behind the finger rolls on either side of the nose. As a person makes a throwing motion, the fingers roll off of the finger rolls just as the toy airplane is reaching its maximum velocity. The presence of the finger rolls, therefore, prevents a person from holding onto the toy airplane too long as it is being thrown.
