摘要： Pipe joint, which is formed from the end portions of pipe sections to be joined together with the portions including a collar, and from flange parts which, as seen from the junction, are placed on different sides of the collars and tightened with applicable fixing members, such as with screws and nuts. The collar of the pipe section is formed from the wall of the end of the pipe section by shaping with a shaping member. The joint surface of the collar of at least one of the pipe sections to be joined is arranged to be divergent by the amount of an angle α, β from the plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the pipe section. A method and to a flange part arrangement are disclosed.

摘要： An apparatus for shaping a strip, especially a metal strip includes a pair of working rolls which are provided with a plurality of forming tools spaced about the circumference of the rolls. Arranged before the working rolls is a pair of guide rolls which run in synchronism with the strip speed. In order to be able to increase the operating speed of the apparatus, i.e. to allow the working rolls to run at a higher speed than the advance speed of the strip, in between the guide rolls and the working rolls a roller is located which is movable in a direction perpendicular to the advance motion of the strip and is supported by the strip itself and by springs located in respective casing. A compensation between the different speeds of the guide rolls and the working rolls is provided by the gradual depression of the roller by the strip against the force of the spring.

摘要： For bending the edge of a thick sheet of metal a tool comprising a yoke with a long and a short leg with plate-engaging bars in the opening between the legs is used. The tool is placed on a sheet so as to straddle the edge to be bent with one bar on each side of the sheet. An extensible member, for example a hydraulic cylinder, bears against the sheet to tilt the yoke so that the bars are pressed against the sheet to bend it. The tool may be provided with transport wheels and drive equipment for automatically moving the tool on the sheet.

An actuating mechanism has a cylinder fixed to the stationary plate and provided with a hand grip. A piston reciprocable in the cylinder is connected to the movable plate for swinging the movable plate through about ninety degrees toward the stationary plate under gas pressure controlled by a valve on the hand grip. A spring returns the piston and movable plate to original position. There is a tooth upstanding from the stationary plate adapted to abut the inner leg of the lock.
