摘要： A fastener comprises a housing, a socket, a pintle and a locking feature. The housing includes a shaft, a central bore that extends axially at least partially through the housing and a ball lock aperture extending from the bore. The socket extends into the housing adjacent to the first end face, and is configured such that rotation of the first socket rotates the fastener. The pintle is positioned within the bore and includes an actuation end and a rod that extends axially from the actuation end. The rod includes a ball transitioning surface and a ball locking surface. The pintle is moveable axially within the bore between a designated lock position where the ball locking surface of the pintle is aligned in register with each ball lock aperture, and a designated unlocked position where the ball lock surface of the pintle is moved axially away from each ball lock aperture.

摘要： Some embodiments are directed to a fixing apparatus that includes a threaded adaptor, an arbor having a flange portion and a shaft portion, and a draw cylinder disposed such that rotation of the threaded adaptor moves the draw cylinder in axially upward and downward directions. A collet can be disposed around a periphery of the arbor so as to be coaxial with the draw cylinder, such that movement of the draw cylinder in the axially downward direction causes the draw cylinder to contact the collet and thereby cause the collet to also move in the axially downward direction. The collet can include axially extending channels that define fingers therebetween and interior coaxial surfaces that are configured to communicate with exterior coaxial surfaces of the arbor such that axially downward movement of the collet moves the fingers in a radially outward direction to thereby increase an exterior diameter of the collet.

摘要： A clamping tool includes a strut having one end and defining a longitudinal axis. Arranged on the one end of the strut is a mount which includes a bushing that is arranged on the strut. The bushing includes recesses and a receptacle which interacts with the recesses so as to be rotatably mounted in the bushing. The bushing has an interior provided with at least one groove for receiving an O-ring which is sized to extend beyond the groove to inhibit a rotational mobility of the receptacle. A clamping device is received in the receptacle of the mount and configured to swing about an axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the strut.
