摘要： An exhaust gas treatment system capable of purifying exhaust gas containing moisture includes superheated steam generating pipes (20, 40) and a housing (10). The superheated steam generating pipe (20, 40) is formed of a material capable of generating heat by energization, and has a flow path (200, 400) through which exhaust gas can flow, and moisture contained in the exhaust gas flowing through the flow path is converted into superheated steam by the heat. The housing (10) is provided to accommodate the superheated steam generating pipe, is formed to allow the exhaust gas before being introduced into the flow path to flow therethrough and can preheat the exhaust gas by the heat of the superheated steam generating pipe.

摘要： A catalyst temperature estimation device that estimates a temperature of a catalyst provided in an exhaust passage of an internal combustion engine includes a storage device and processing circuitry. The storage device stores mapping data that specifies a mapping that uses multiple input variables to output an estimation value of the temperature of the catalyst. The multiple input variables include at least one variable of an ambient temperature variable or an excess amount variable. The multiple input variables further include a fluid energy variable, which is a state variable related to energy of fluid flowing into the catalyst, and a previous cycle value of the estimation value of the temperature of the catalyst. The processing circuitry is configured to execute an acquisition process, a temperature calculation process, and an operation process. The mapping data includes data that is learned through machine learning.

A corresponding injection abnormality detection method is further disclosed. The injection abnormality detection method is simple and reliable.

The methods may include delivering secondary air with a compression arrangement via a common secondary air line divided into a number of individual secondary air sublines corresponding to the number of exhaust ducts at a branching point downstream of the compression arrangement; controlling the secondary air to simultaneously enable or inhibit the flow to the individual secondary air sublines; detecting values for the pressure downstream of the compression arrangement and upstream of the branching point; detecting pulsations of a pressure in each cylinder bank when the compression arrangement is activated and the throughflow control arrangement set into the open state; summing the pulsations; comparing each of summed-up values with threshold values; and if the respective threshold value is exceeded, identifying a fault in the throughflow control arrangement.

Further, the controller estimates a current intramural PM deposition amount based on a current oxygen storage capacity of the catalyst and the correlation.
