摘要： A system for energy storage and electricity generation is described. The system includes an energy storage system providing compressed air and an electricity generation system. The electricity generation system includes an airlift pumping system pneumatically coupled to the energy storage system. The airlift pumping system includes a water collecting tank containing collecting water and a riser tube having a base immersed in the collecting water and configured for injection of the compressed air into the riser tube through the air pipeline to provide air bubbles within the riser tube that produce an upward flow of the collecting water together with the air bubbles. The electricity generation system also includes a hydro-electric power system driven by upward flow of the collecting water together with the air bubbles to produce electricity, and a water heating system for heating the collecting water in the water collecting tank.

Due to the design of the housing 70, the fluid turbine 65 has particularly high efficiency.

摘要： Provided are a floating structure fluid dynamic force use system and a wind-propelled vessel which uses the system whereby it is possible to compensate for overturning moment due to fluid dynamic force and to alleviate both tilting and size increases of a floating structure. A floating structure fluid dynamic force use system (1) comprises an assembly (12) which extracts energy from wind or water, and a floating structure (13) which supports the assembly (12). The assembly (12) comprises a wind receiving part (10) which receives fluid dynamic force, and a support column (11) which supports the wind receiving part (10). The assembly (12) is positioned with the center of gravity (15) thereof below the water line and is supported to be capable of tilting in an arbitrary direction upon the floating structure (13).

The second input may be provided by a model of the compressor or of the compression system responsive to measured properties. The second input may particularly be an estimate of a property not directly observable, such as stall margin or efficiency.

摘要： Methodology and tooling arrangements for increasing interlaminar shear strength in a ceramic matrix composite (CMC) structure are provided. The CMC structure may be formed by a plurality of layers of ceramic fibers disposed between a top surface and a bottom surface of the composite structure. A plurality of surface recesses are formed on the surfaces of the structure. For example, each of the surfaces of the composite structure may be urged against corresponding top and bottom surfaces of a tool having a plurality of asperities. The plurality of surface recesses causes an out-of-plane sub-surface fiber displacement along an entire thickness of the structure, and the sub-surface fiber displacement is arranged to increase an interlaminar shear strength of the structure.
