摘要： A system and method for measuring a flow of saturated steam can include a temperature sensor that measures process temperature, and one or more pressure sensors that measure pressure including differential pressure and static pressure. A flow of saturated steam can be calculated from two sets of measurements, one measurement using the differential pressure and the static pressure and a second measurement using the differential pressure and the process temperature. Redundant flow measurements can be provided with respect to the flow of saturated steam in case of failure of the temperature sensor or the pressure sensors. In addition, a deviation between the flow of the saturated steam as calculated from the process temperature and the differential pressure compared to a flow of saturated steam as calculated from the differential pressure and the static pressure can provide an indication of degradation of the temperature sensor or the pressure sensors.

The flow sensor includes a gauge that provides a first level of information about flow through the sensor, and an indicator associated with the gauge that can provided a second level of information about flow through the sensor. The indicator might be in the form of a dial that can rotate about the gauge and might include a locked position for monitoring flow and an unlocked position to rotate the dial about the gauge to reposition the dial. A twisted shaft with varying twist rate is provided to convert linear motion to rotational motion for the gauge.

摘要： A method serves for detecting the flow rate of a centrifugal pump, wherein the rotation speed of the pump or of the motor driving the pump, a hydraulic variable of the pump, typically the delivery pressure and an electrical variable of the drive motor, for example the electrical power are determined, and the flow rate is evaluated by way of these variables. For this, variables dependent on the flow rate are determined by way of a mathematic linking of terms of equations describing physical relations of the pump and drive motor, wherein one term contains the rotation speed of the pump and a hydraulic variable of the pump and another term contains an electric or mechanical variable of the drive motor of the pump and the rotation speed of the pump. The flow rate is determined by way of the functional relation between the flow rate and the dependent variable.

摘要： A small and light-weight flowmeter realizes the compensation of a zero point drift. A mass flowmeter includes: a centrifugal force/centripetal force detection strain gauge adhered to a part acted upon by a centrifugal force or a centripetal force of fluid in a pipe line in which the fluid flows and a flow rate zero point drift compensation strain gauge adhered to a position different from that of the centrifugal force/centripetal force detection strain gauge. A pulse wave propagation time between the two points is used to compensate a zero point drift of a flow rate.
