The electronic glasses also include a front part. The front part includes a left eyepiece for a left electro-active lens, a right eyepiece for a right electro-active lens, a bridge connecting the left and right eyepieces, and a groove. In addition, the electronic glasses include an electronic device. The electronic glasses further include a flexible cable arranged in the groove. Additionally, the electronic glasses include closure measures that include a sealing element.

摘要： This invention refers to armless spectacles made from a sheet of material that includes at least a second folding line in stabilisation means. The invention proposes several methods of ensuring the second line and offering even greater rigidity. The spectacles can be converted from a non-functional state into a functional assembled state suitable for use by manipulating the configuration of at least one stabilising means in the bridge area. The spectacles have an enhanced rigidity thus increasing the overall stability of the spectacles during use. They can be presented basically flat for storage or transport and be easily manipulated to achieve the configuration for use. The spectacles may further present enhanced fastening and handling means that increase fastening stability as well as easy placement and removal of the spectacles on and from the nose, which further enhances reliability during use.

摘要： A retaining device for reading glasses comprises a lanyard and counterweights slidable engaging the lanyard. The counterweights are movable by sliding such that the counterweights hang in behind a user's ears to retain glasses on the user, when foldable temple pieces do not include ear pieces, such that the temple pieces do no rest on a user's ears. Instead, the lanyard extends over the user's ears and the counterweights apply a force, due to gravity, that acts opposite to the force of gravity on the glasses, retaining the glasses on the user's nose. For example, the glasses may be foldable into a pendant and may be retained on the user's neck until needed.

The front piece (30) has a central hinge assembly (40) by means of which the front piece can be folded to a position where its lenses (31, 32) are held between and protected by the side pieces (20a, 20b). Each side piece (20a, 20b) has a first portion (21) which is connected to the front lens piece (30) by a resilient corner hinge (25), a second portion (22) which forms a free end portion of the side piece, and a resilient transition portion (23) between the first and second portions (21, 22). Thanks to the resilient corner hinges (25) and the resilient transition portion (23) of the two side pieces (20a, 20b), the spectacles (10) in use are held in place in a reliable manner since the side pieces (20a, 20b) are pressed against the side of the user's head.
