摘要： Systems and methods for autonomously dispensing items. A dispensing system receives a first distributed ledger transaction that: i) identifies an item, ii) identifies a container associated with and containing the item, iii) includes a status indicator in a first state identifying the item as present in the container, and iv) includes an authorization code associated with a mobile device. The authorization code is received from the mobile device. The dispensing system creates a second distributed ledger transaction based on the first distributed ledger transaction that changes the status indicator to a second state identifying the item as authorized for dispensing. Responsive to the creation of the second distributed ledger transaction, access is autonomously provided to the item. The dispensing system creates a third distributed ledger transaction based on the second distributed ledger transaction that changes the status indicator to a third state identifying the item as dispensed.

The compact and mobile nature of the beverage station allows the automated robotic beverage station to be deployed at any suitable location both indoors and outdoors. Further, various embodiments are self-contained in that the beverage station includes on-board battery supplied power, on-board liquid disposal (e.g., a holding tank) and on-board water supply. Further, the automated robotic nature of several embodiments provides for beverage selection, preparation and serving without labor costs as the robotic automated aspects can process inputs from communicatively coupled smart phone and the like. The beverage station includes a processor for receiving the beverage order, determining ingredients, controlling robotic components that select, mix and serve the ordered beverage and then handle financial transactions.

The techniques include receiving user identifying information associated with a payment account and conveying an identifier of the account to a management system of the retailer. Items, as selected by the user, are added to a virtual cart that is checked out automatically when the user exits the store and the third party system communicates the cart contents to the retailer for cost calculation and then instructs payment using the stored payment information without disrupting existing inventory and account management systems.

The payment module is configured to detect payment data specifying an account from a user's payment device. The enclosure is mounted to the chassis and has an opening for the touch screen display. The enclosure encloses the payment module. By enclosing the payment module, the kiosk mounting apparatus encapsulates the payment module into the kiosk.
