摘要： Currency processing systems, coin processing machines, coin sorting and recycling assemblies, and methods of making and methods of using the same are presented herein. A currency processing system is disclosed which includes a housing with a coin input area for receiving coins and coin receptacles for stowing processed coins. A disk-type coin processing unit includes a rotatable disk for imparting motion to input coins, and a sorting head for separating and discharging coins from exit stations. An automated coin chute receives coins from one of the exit stations. The automated coin chute includes a movable diverter plate that selectively transitions between a first position, whereby coins received from the exit station of the disk-type coin processing unit are redirected through a coin-recycling output passage to a coin-recycling receptacle, and a second position, whereby coins received from the exit station are redirected through a coin-depositing output passage to a coin-depositing receptacle.

In the configuration, a position and an orientation of a guide roller are caused to be constant regardless of a size of a coin, and thus the coin is appropriately guided toward a feeding passage by the guide roller regardless of the size of the coin.

The pipe is jointed and has a rigid, elongate element having a straight, elongate portion and a curved portion at a first end of the straight, elongate portion. The pipe further includes a rigid, curved element. The curved portion and the curved element are connected to define a continuous passageway through the curved element and the elongate element. The curved element, at least before mounting of the pipe in the coin handling apparatus, is rotatable in relation to the elongate element, such that an angle between a first opening of the curved element and a direction extending along the straight elongate portion is variable.

摘要： A first payout slide delivers a coin at a bottom in a coin tube, and a second payout slide delivers at least one coin located on the coin at the bottom in the coin tube. A selection mechanism including a change lever, solenoid, etc. performs a selection such that the first payout slide is activated alone or the first and second payout slides are activated together. A single coin is delivered through the first payout slide having been activated alone, whereas at least two coins are delivered through the first and second payout slides having been activated together. The coin delivering device may further be provided with a change slide that selectively regulates the delivery of the coin from the corresponding coin tube so that the delivery of the coin is not to be carried out regardless of an activation of the first payout slide.

A bill acceptor may be employed to accept bills used to purchase rolls of coins and stacks of bills, and a system controller can sense restocking and dispensing events to maintain an accurate inventory of cash in the bill acceptor, as well as, the total cash stored in the form of coin rolls or rolls bills, as well as, bill stacks.
